When Bakers Cook Gets A Review
Dear Bakers and Readers (aka: hi all)
When you self publish a book, everyone tells you that you must do social media until the cows come home. While that's the counsel of the day and probably wise, I've never been wise. I'd sooner focus on creating more content (i.e. my next cookbook, The Baker's Four Seasons).
So it is with true delight that I discovered a review of When Bakers Cook, my newest cookbook, over at Nicole Weston's blog, BakingBites. Here's the review http://bakingbites.com/2014/01/when-b...
(Thanks Nicole)
Since I published When Bakers Cook less than a month ago, I've also was honored to have it listed as one of the Washington Post Best Cookbooks of 2013.
But mostly, I've been taking a breath and resting up as I approach the next self-publishing book marathon.
Like childbirth, self publishing makes you vow to never labour again :). But minutes after you cradle your new baby book, such vows are forgotten and you find yourself falling in love with that book - and its sibling books to come.
Stay tuned, keep warm and visit me at www.betterbaking.com where the February 2014 issue is in the works....along with Blue Velvet Cake and other treats.
