The second book in this series is a little slow and angsty for me. The FMC is struggling to figure out what’s going on, and as I reader I empathised with her. Ended on a cliffhanger but overall I enjoyed this book

Much better than book 1. I skip over the open door spicy scenes but the story is good. The world building is better and the battles are epic. I enjoyed the characters development and I’m looking forward to book 3
