Dr. A. R. Davis has taught students from junior high through graduate school, worked in the real world briefly as an engineer, and published papers in computational geometry. He retired as a professor of computer science and mathematics when he decided to step beyond algorithms and logical proofs and into metaphysical science fiction. He has been unable to return and is now wandering somewhere beyond Thoughtland. His footsteps through the Borderland are perturbing reality with every reader who explores his words. He is hoping for a Butterfly Effect to generate the storm of recognition. Visit him online at www.thefifthprophet.com.

Timing?

Refuge for the Khymera is now published and available on Amazon as an ebook or softcover. It was perfect timing, with the recent congressional hearings on UFOs. They were like a blast from the past, the 1950s, classic sci-fi, alien autopsies, etc. But what do you make of it all? The witnesses sounded sincere. A.R. Davis answered Liz's question: That group is a fake book club. It's a bunch of bots and alt accounts using AI. I'm a moderator of another group and Goodreads has been made aware of the situation. We see this from time to time. Nobody pays for promotion on Goodreads. This is not done. Do not fall for this stuff. Thanks, Lisa. Required question mark: ? Whoa! What group?? The Bookward discussion?? or the Listopia list? And I did NOT pay for this ... luckily. ... You mean all these questions are AI???? Are the "members" real?? Who are you?

This is a three volume series of space opera which won several awards. I read all three books rather quickly, but this was no Starship Troopers. The evil empress doesn’t even die at the end, essentially she just gets locked in her room. When I called ...more
