Vidyut Gore crafts science fiction that bridges the gap between cutting-edge reality and awe-inspiring imagination. With a penchant for seamlessly blending known science with futuristic developments, Gore creates rich, immersive worlds where symbiosis with microorganisms unlocks abilities that push the boundaries of human potential.

Her stories introduce compelling, multidimensional characters who grapple with love, loss, and morality in a universe where survival is anything but guaranteed. Readers are drawn into Gore’s narratives not only by the thrilling, high-tech adventures but also by the raw, human emotion at their core.

I realised it would get very serious, very fast and there is enough insight into bad things we feel helpless about. I wanted to write something that would provoke thought and allow contemplation without distress, and the whole thing seceded to the world of science fiction and never looked back.(less)

The rest can be fixed. I usually edit my work several times till it "rings" right. Occasionally I don't know how to proceed, so I just write whatever comes to mind, which is usually awful. But writing it lets me see what isn't working, and leads to what is. I'm probably not a good person to answer about writers block. My first novel was 140,000 words, after taking out anything that didn't need to be there. The second is headed the same route. I like writing complex stories.(less)

Terminally Immortal is now live

Terminally Immortal, the sequel to Marginally Human is now live on Amazon. I'm trying to make it free, but Amazon still thinks it is on pre-order. You can still read it for free if you have Kindle Unlimited.

The story of sisters AxAm continues. If the previous book was about rescue and found family, this one is about relentless twists and origin stories.

The consequences of AricNova's rescue cascade Read more of this blog post »

Lazy.

For a book that follows an attempt to save the world, it is remarkably prejudiced toward the "entitled sexist-racist's" world. It is an entertaining series, and the author makes no pretences to emotional depth. Plenty of technically sound thinki
