If you’ve found your way here, hello and thanks for taking a look.

My first two books are thriller set in the 1970s. Featuring Billy Lynch, and focused on tension, atmosphere, and the pressure cooker situations he finds himself in. There are criminal elements in the background, but these are not police procedurals; they’re character led thrillers where things tend to spiral out of control in unpredictable ways.

Despite the titles, Who's Got The Biscuits and The Siege of Mr Khan’s Curry Shop are really about people, choices, and what happens when ordinary situations turn anything but ordinary.

Thanks for stopping by, and feel free to explore the books if they catch your interest.

Where It All Began 20

A Struggling Farm and Homeward Bound

I have to admit I kinda had my tail between my legs after the Legion failure. But as Peter had told me years before “There’s only one person at a pity party!” I had mixed emotions too. I really needed to contact my wife, I had an idea to go to America and my sister was really struggling on the farm. There was a lot of work to do, no money to pay staff, and const

THR3E by Matt Stanley
"Jeffrey Dahmer meets Stephen King vibes 😂. It was awesome to have the perspective of this experience of someone who isn't "insane" he was fully aware, a fully sane human being doing insane things 🫠. I appreciate Sunny."

“I think you mean the National Front. Thank you, Janine.’
Janine screwed her face up. ‘They’re a bunch of pricks, but I didn’t think it was professional to say so,’ she said as she disappeared again.

“Do you think you can handle it?’
‘Yeah, like fuck we can. It’ll be great. What about looting? I mean, you said whatever we like. The lads have never been looting.’
‘Ooh, a little treat for them,’ Janine shouted, and under her breath, ‘for fuck's sake.’
Charlie Robinson, The Siege of Mr Khan's Curry Shop.”

“I declare after all there is no enjoyment like reading! How much sooner one tires of any thing than of a book! -- When I have a house of my own, I shall be miserable if I have not an excellent library.”
Jane Austen, Pride and Prejudice

“Don't think or judge, just listen.”
