Boston Marathon 2026 Training and race recap

Monday was the 130th Boston marathon, and while I didn’t run as fast as I was hoping, I still set a course PB by nearly 7 minutes and ran my fastest marathon since 2023. I ran a lot of the race with (who cracked 2:40) and celebrated afterwards with the big MIT alumni squad pictured above. I ended up running a 2:41:56, instead of my hoped-for 2:35. This one was even better than the Winter King. Grail quest in the guise of searching for the druidic cauldron on the Island of Anglesey, Guinevere/Lancelot tryst, more Saxon action, and lots of Merlin sass.
