Namrata answered a question about The Candid Life of Meena Dave: Is the last name of the heroine pronounced 'Dah-veh' or 'Dave' like the nickname for David? It is Dave as in David from her adoptive parents but it is also an intentional choice towards her growing assimilation into her new journey towards embracing her cultural roots. Hope this is helpful.
