Bronx-born and raised, Jason Allison spent twenty years with the NYPD, mostly as a homicide detective. His debut novel, THE KILLING YARDS, comes out 9/22/26 from Crooked Lane Books. His fiction has won the Al Blanchard Award and been featured in Rock and a Hard Place, Fighting Words: Bruisers, Brawlers & Bad Intentions, and New England’s Best Crime Stories. He and his wife live in Massachusetts with a judgmental Golden Retriever.

He is represented by Alec Shane of Writers House and posts intermittently about culture at jasonallison.substack.com.
