Week #49: December 1-7, 2025
Welcome to Week Forty-nine, which is firmly planted in the final month of the year. May it knock on the door of your life in a gentle, sweet-natured way.
I honestly cannot believe we’re here. I hope you’re proud of how you’re meeting this week. I want for you to be able to touch in with your sense of embodied light, and even as the darkness of night encroaches on the days ahead, I want you to see that there is always warmth to be found within you.
By this week’s end, I’ll arrive at the anniversary of my hospitalization. A Tower moment, when I realized I may not survive the storm, or the fall. But here I am, a year later, alive and here, The Star twinkling brightly above me. I want to write more about this to you. I want to share so much of what I’m learning. And I need to hang out here a little longer, before plunging back under the surface of The Moon and next year brings us a chance to stand in The Sun.
We’re in it until it’s over, this 9 collective year, where every single daily, weekly, and monthly number is amplified. Due to the fact that 9 can essentially be canceled out in any reduction calculation it appears in (truly, try some out, i.e. 1+9 = 10, 1+0 = 1), every core number this year becomes more of itself. Magnified, and polarized. Embodying both sides of the coin at the same time.
Meaning for this week…
the bee-cosystem📅: I am going to have 2026 offerings, including an updated DAILY DIGITS planner, a live and recorded workshop in January for planning your year, and some kind of personalized reading. I’m still working out the details, so if you have requests, this is the time to email me at beescolnick@pm.me!

Week #48: November 24-30, 2025
Welcome to Week Forty-eight, the last in November. After this week, we will have just four more weeks of the year.
Regardless of what traditions you observe, I’m sending you some extra love and comfort this week! Take sweet care of yourself. We’re all going to make it.

Week #47: November 17-23, 2025
Welcome to Week Forty-seven, whose root number is eleven, and which bring us deeper into the darkness with the new moon in Scorpio, before offering us another moment of repetition and reflection:
ELEVEN TWENTY-TWO (NINE)
11/22/2025
1+1+2+2+2+0+2+5 = 15/6
Today could see heightened themes of agency, entanglement, reciprocity, and either being stuck or needing to stay (which are not the same thing at all, really). Growth happens whether we’re tending to things or not, just look at weeds that sprout from cracks in pavement. Consider what truly needs your attention, and what could continue to evolve without your input. And remember in an animist worldview, there are very few true objects. Actions do have consequences.

Week #47
Photo by Omkar Jadhav on UnsplashForty-seven is a number of rooted growth, finding support in the spiritual, and seeking wisdom from unorthodox sources.
When researching the number 47, I was surprised to find so many cultural and scientific references. There’s even a whole phenomenon and society built around it! So this week’s forecasts are all fun facts and cosmic connections having to do with this infamous number. Read all nine for fun, and then hone in on your yearly cycle and see what it could be offering you!
This week, look to both the ground and the sky for the resources you need. There is always knowledge and opportunity available to you, even in the deepest nights of winter, when the moon has disappeared from the sky. If you feel full and fruiting, see if you can sink into the pleasure and passion that is possible after you’re planted.

Photo by Swansway Motor Group on UnsplashNovember 17-23 for Your Yearly CycleTo find your yearly cycle number, add the digits of your month and day of birth to 2025, and reduce until you reach a single digit. For example, the calculation for my birthday of July 7 looks like: 7+7+2+0+2+5 = 23, 2+3 = 5.
Please note that I reduce doubled digit numbers like 11 and 22 to their root numbers when working with yearly cycles, so please calculate and read accordingly.
Read for your Yearly Cycle, but also check out your prominent chart placements, like Life Path and Public Persona, as well for the collective 9-year.
1The 47-year cycle of Mars: The ancient Mesopotamians discovered that after 47 years, 22 synodic periods of 780 days each, Mars returns to the same position between the stars and maintains the same relationship with the Earth and the Sun.
2Late rapper Capital Steez was infatuated with the number 47 and what it meant spiritually. He believed the number 47 was the “perfect expression of balance in the world”, representing the tension between the heart and the brain (the fourth and seventh chakras, respectively.)
3The 47 “conspiracy” can be attributed to “Star Trek” writer and producer Joe Menosky, who started sneaking 47 into his scripts during his run as a writer on “Star Trek: The Next Generation.” The reason? Menosky is a graduate of Pomona College in Claremont, California, where the number 47 is touted by student and staff as the “quintessential random number” of the universe. This inside joke caught on with other “Star Trek” writers, eventually leaking into the series’ other spinoffs “Voyager” and “Deep Space Nine.”
4The ’47 hat brand references the year 1947, which holds special significance as the founding year that Italian immigrant brothers, Henry D’Angelo and Arthur D’Angelo, embarked on a journey that would leave a lasting impact on the sports apparel.
5BBC: Indian man arrested with 47 venomous vipers in bag at Mumbai airport — He had spider-tailed horned vipers, Asian leaf turtles and Indonesian pit vipers in checked-in luggage.
6Pope Simplicius was the 47th pope. In the time of his pontificate, the long-lasting Western Roman Empire finally ended in a period of chaos. Pope Simplicius made it a personal mission to help the people of Rome to navigate through those dark and dangerous times.
7BBC: Solved after 47 years: The mystery of the North Sea message in a bottle — The note with a Scottish address and dated 1978 was found on a Swedish island.
8Silver is the chemical element in the periodic table that has the symbol Ag and atomic number 47. Silver is associated with purity, reflection, and the lunar cycle, embodying receptivity and the subconscious mind.
9The number 47 has historical implications to Pomona College, a liberal arts college in Claremont, California, and has been incorporated into various aspects of campus life. The tradition began in the summer of 1964, when two students, Laurie Mets and Bruce Elgin, conducted a research project seeking to find out whether the number occurs more often in nature than would be expected by chance. They documented various 47 sightings, and professor Donald Bentley produced a false mathematical proof that 47 was equal to all other integers. The number became a meme among the class, which spread once the academic year began and snowballed over time.
What do you make of the phenomena surrounding the number 47? What do you make of your fun fact? How could you find a deeper meaning that’s relevant to your life?

First of all, yes, please, make a wish! DO IT. Put your back into it, etc. etc. It is your Earthbound blessing to play and if you do not believe me, today is the perfect day to try it for yourself. Why is it that we talk and train ourselves out of having fun? What do people really mean when they say, “if you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life?” Untangle from shoulds and seriousness. To be absurd is to be alive. If you can’t enjoy it now, when will you?

Week #46

5 life lessons from the first month of my Clinical Psychology program
Earlier this week, I took my first midterm in fifteen years. It was open book, no time limit, and I missed 3 questions for a score of 85%. I felt disappointed, and then I said my newest mantra—Good enough—and got back to work. My professor then deemed a few of the questions to be misleading or out of the scope of our learning, so she eliminated them from the midterm and my grade raised to a 95%! GOOOOOD ENOUGH!
The first month of my Master’s program in Clinical Psychology has absolutely flown by. So far, I’ve attended 10 class meetings on Zoom, written 25-30 discussion board posts and 3 shorter papers (1-4 pages in APA format), and read hundreds of pages of materials. I have learned, been affirmed and challenged, and noticed a thousand things about who I am now/have always been/am becoming.
This month will be busy, busy, busy. I have longer papers due mid-month and early December, and a project that involves interviewing a parent about their tween’s early years. (Thank goddess for ’s ’s Discord and the friends I have made there!) I’m being asked quite quickly to embody the role of a clinician, to observe people, systems, structures, ecosystems, patterns, habits, compassion, connection, trauma, harm, love, respect, trust and healing from a place of psychological curiosity and understanding.
I’m finding it same same but distinctly different to the work I’ve done as a writer and spiritual practitioner, and I truly feel as if I’m in the right place, which is a blessing to behold after years of life, death and rebirth.
The main difference? If you’re reading this right now, chances are you cannot be one of my future clients. I will need to draw strict boundaries between my clinical practice, and any work I do with clients in the spiritual/witchy space as to not create dual relationships. Ultimately, I feel a lot of freedom in this separation, and the good news is I can still share tons of juicy information with you as I learn!
In the fun, feedback form I sent out last month, over 80% of you said you’d like to read Learn Along missives from my program! How very 9-coded of us. And I’m so tickled—this is a great opportunity to both share knowledge and wisdom, and do some reflection on my own work and learning.
The breakdown of my classes, with my notes and takeaways, plus links to a few of my favorite readings or videos from my classes, will be for my paid pals under the cut (if you subscribe to read, thank you!!, and please consider doing it from a computer or browser—the iOS app eats all our money, honey!), but I wanted to share a few major, major lessons we could all use, especially now.
5 life lessons from the first month of my Clinical Psychology program:Showing up imperfectly is all we can do.
Repair is a necessary process that is vital to both the individual and the community.
Everyone is susceptible to influence and inappropriate hierarchical thinking.
Change takes time, patience, sustained efforts, and a whole lot of love and grace.
Healing, like everything else, is a constant arrival, without ever arriving.

November 2025: You Get to Choose
We’ve entered the eleventh month of this year. Today is the full moon in Taurus. On Call Your Coven, said this one is about enjoying the fruits of our labors. How can you bring joy and satisfaction into your day, if even for just a moment?
Last month, I wrote that by the end of October, my year-to-year prognosis might just be miraculous. I’m deeply grateful to say that YES, IT IS! I am in remission from Hodgkin’s lymphoma (NLPHL), and while I cannot undo all of the damage that’s been done to my spine, there is healing taking place! This time last year, I was losing the ability to move and had no idea what was taking place inside my poor, broken body. This year, I am all about those re’s: remission, rehabilitation, and retrogrades!
And last week, I had a “bed day” because I wanted to, not because I had to. What a gift. What a good idea—maybe I’ll have another one today to celebrate!
Now, bring in the dancing lobsters!!
Amanda Bynes, you’ll always be famous to me

🔮: Call Your Coven is new for November 2025: Maintaining Integrity — The end of year slowdown is here! If only months had retrogrades! Everything is right where you left it! Integrity is something we live out in our choices day to day! If you’re trying to be for everyone, you’re for no one! Move with intention!
sharing is caring! by sending this email to a beloved, you’re both supporting a queer witch & strengthening a friendship. it’s a win-win!
Photo by Inga Gezalian on UnsplashNovember 2025: You Get to ChooseAs I said in Call Your Coven’s November forecast “Maintaining Integrity,” this month will put us back in touch with duality and perspective. As above, so below. As within, so without. And vice versa. Eleven wants us to grab a greater view. To strive for something greater than we are.
Eleven is a wish, a dream, and a lofty goal.
It can often feel easier to not have ethics, morals, standards, or values. It can be hard to plug into life and find joy, practice hope, and believe to the point of optimism. It takes strength to stand in your center, align your mind and your mouth, and do what you know is right. (Or at least to do what you can stand behind until you know more than you do now.) This takes humility; this takes grace. Integrity work is no joke. It takes heart and guts.
But at least you can rest easy. I hope you let yourself rest easily.
This month may show you opposites, as well as present you with opportunities to make decisions. Eleven’s root number two rules choice. Everything gets weighed against your internal compass, through the lens of the work you’ve done or haven’t done. Get to the heart of what you want, what you believe in, what you’ll fight for, and what you value. You might be surprised at some updated answers. You might even find yourself making different choices than you thought you would. That’s okay. Reflect on those variances. Stay true to yourself. Be mindful of the consequences. Be aware of the little voice saying you’re not doing enough as you try to fly.
Something about November does feel kind of sweet, but I’ve also been through too much to go into it blindly… I hope for relief for us all, and enough distance from our pain that we may see the road forward.

NOTABLE NUMEROLGY IN NOVEMBER
Photo by Fred Neethling on UnsplashFULL MOON IN TAURUS
11/05/2025
1+1+5+2+0+2+5 = 16/7
Another 16/7 full moon during the Northern Hemisphere’s sacred slowdown? Yes please, honestly. If you’re standing in the liminal space, how can you let it be luxurious? There’s less pressure when you don’t know, you know? And the one thing you don’t need right now is more pressure. They say pressure makes diamonds, but plenty of other precious gems form under gentler circumstances. I all you do today is breathe and blink, that’s enough.

NEW MOON IN SCORPIO
11/20/2025
1+1+2+0+2+0+2+5 = 13/4
Okay now you can get serious! When the dark moon aligns with the sweet caress of Death, we’re practically being begged to get a little spooky. A little shadowy. A little dig in deep, and fly by night. Quiet creation is the vibe for the evening. Sit in silence, write in a journal, pull tarot cards, take a bath, paint with your fingers, doodle your Shadow Self (mine’s a sly fox…), contemplate existence, take a self-portrait. Set any intentions when the crescent moon appears…

Witchcraft in Trying Times with Judika Illes
Hello, hello, happy Halloween, witches! Happy Samhain, happy new year.
I am thrilled to bring you this conversation with one of—if not the—leading practitioner in the witchcraft space, Judika Illes, whose brand-new deck the Magic Spells Oracle is out now!
But first, if you are interested in working with the numerology of the day:
SAMHAIN
10/31/2025
1+0+3+1+2+0+2+5 = 14/5
11/01/2025
1+1+1+2+0+2+5 = 12/3
Happy New Year, Witches! These holy days at the end of the month feel super supportive and potent for this wheel spin/new year/transition energy. October 31st is an overall 14/5 day, so you may want to brew a potion, try a new spell that sounds like fun, or do Uncrossing or Road Opening work. November 1, is an overall 12/3 day, so again, we’re making magic, we’re getting creative, we’re expressing ourselves, we’re reflecting on the overall journey… anything that feels like it’ll put you in a good place to lay things to rest, and be reborn.
Whew, know, lofty goals, but at it’s absolutely meeting me where I am this year, and I hope that it is meeting you where you are as well.
If you don’t know where the hell you are today (this season, this year), I hope that this conversation brings you back into your body, back into your practice, back to your meaning, your why for taking an interest in witchcraft, or taking up the practice. Why did you start this adventure? Why did you take on this identity, this mantle, this name for yourself of witch?
And even if you don’t claim it, I think this conversation is just so chock full of really good lessons from a long life. Judika shares so generously from her long publishing career, and I also posed to her questions like, What can we do in these trying times? And she had very grounded, very simple, very accessible and empowering answers.
So I know you’re gonna love it.

Week #44: October 27-November 2, 2025
Welcome to Week Forty-four, which will take us through Samhain and into the witch’s new year. Into November, too.
I find it perfectly magical that the 11th month of the year will start in the 44th week of the year, but first—if you’d like to work with the numerology of Samhain 2025, here’s my write-up from October 2025: WE WILL GO FORTH:
SAMHAIN
10/31/2025

There are just two months left of this 9 collective year, where every single daily, weekly, and monthly number is amplified. How This Libra New Moon Hit My 10th House
What’s up, swimmers? I know it’s Scorpio season, but my heart is full and still floating around in Libra new moon-land.
This week has been a biggie for me! After spending most of the year in my Hermit hole—besides Call Your Coven, which doubles as my official hair journey—I had the honor and pleasure of being on two podcasts that I listen to and love, and we officially announced an incredible launch event and discussion for The Rebis: The Devil, live in Los Angeles!
Thank you for spending your time with me. I hope these conversations delight, inspire, and evoke something within you!
Oh, and before you see a bunch of pictures of my old hair, here’s what I’m rocking now….
Libra New Moon: the Art of Numerology w/ Rebecca Scolnick
Cosmic Cousins (with Jeff Hinshaw) is an astrology podcast dedicated to honoring the interconnectedness of our universal family through embodied health, self-discovery, and deeper learning.
On this week’s episode, Rebecca shares how her relationship with numbers began as a form of reclamation, transforming math anxiety into a practice of meaning-making, and how her recent healing journey through cancer has unfolded in rhythm with Jupiter’s transit through Cancer. We explore the Sabian symbol for this New Moon, “Handing down wisdom from generation to generation,” as an invitation to bridge knowledge and lived experience, weaving ancient insight into modern healing.
This was perhaps the most fun I’ve ever had, and I’m also now the reigning champ of the “Cosmic Slip-n-Slide” segment!! Come my public profession of love for Ariana Grande, but stay for Jeff’s gorgeous weaving of service and spice.
Thanks for reading swimming in the soup! This post is public so feel free to share it.
Creative Projects and Spiritual Practices with Numerologist Bee Scolnick
Honing In (with Dr. Kate Henry) is a podcast for creative thinkers where we’ll hone our skills, explore our passions, and nurture our dream projects into being.
Here are some of the things Bee and Kate discuss:
Navigating a career shift from production to self-employment
Bee’s lifelong journey and study of numerology
Approaching writing as “idea first” or “container first”
How to find your yearly cycle using numerology
Grounding yourself in a weekly practice
Bee reads the numerology for Kate’s wedding!
I’m just going to say it: I love Dr. Kate Henry! It was a true honor to be in conversation with her, and also I fully forgot we were recording multiple times because she’s just the easiest human to talk to. Did I mention she’s a doctor???
subscribe as a paid pal for weekly numerological forecasts for your yearly cycle number, quarterly insights from the tarot on the solstices and equinoxes, first dibs on future offerings, and access to The Soup™ Discord server.
Dealing with the Devil Card: Shadow, Desire, and Liberation in Practice
The Philosophical Research Society presents an intimate & vulnerable discussion with The Rebis : The Devil issue contributors about working with The Devil archetype in liberatory ways. The event will take place at PRS in Los Angeles, CA on November 15, 2025 at 4pm PST.
What does it mean to physically embody freedom in a world that so often demands conformity, obedience, and silence? This intimate roundtable discussion, moderated by Hannah Levy of The Rebis, brings together Christopher Marmelojo, Maria Minnis, and Rebecca “Bee” Scolnick for a conversation exploring shame, oppression, confrontation, and pleasure.
The Devil is a portal into radical honesty and embodiment, so our panelists will get real about how they’re working with this archetype in their practices and lives. Topics will include kink, trans joy, living with chronic illness & disability, and the ongoing work of making art and living under authoritarianism.
All attendees will receive a complimentary copy of The Rebis: The Devil!
If you are anywhere near Los Angeles, please come see us in November! The PRS is so rad, and I’m pinching myself to be on this panel. I can’t wait to overshare, and to help introduce y’all to this incredible issue of The Rebis.
Until next time, just keep swimming!xx, bee
