If it's the story, then maybe I'm trying to force something that shouldn't be in the story or it doesn't make sense to go that way. Generally, sitting down and getting into the zone will get things flowing after a bit. I can talk a lot, and writing a first draft is just talking onto the page.(less)

“Seth’s”
Tiffany Dickinson, Kaleidoscope

“The fire of literacy is created by the emotional sparks between a child, a book, and the person reading. It isn’t achieved by the book alone, nor by the child alone, nor by the adult who’s reading aloud—it’s the relationship winding between all three, bringing them together in easy harmony.”
Mem Fox, Reading Magic: Why Reading Aloud to Our Children Will Change Their Lives Forever

“All good stories are true. Even if they were completely made up by the storyteller, there is something in them that resonates with us. Courage. Love. Self-sacrifice. The storyteller makes his story real through the telling.”
C.E. Laureano, Oath of the Brotherhood

“Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe.”
Albert Einstein

“So many books, so little time.”
Frank Zappa

“Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.”
Bernard M. Baruch
