Alexandra Compton, known to her friends and family as Alex, is an up-and-coming writer from Glasgow, UK. She enjoys experimenting with poems, novels, and short stories in various genres, and her debut poetry pamphlet, A Thousand Binding Moments, is being released later this year. She is also working on a queer YA speculative trilogy which she hopes to start querying later this year.

She is currently studying for her English Literature MA at the University of Glasgow and runs a charity that she set up in 2017, Maggie’s Beautiful People Project. When not reading or writing, Alex enjoys baking or spending time with her fiancé and two dogs.
