This past week has flown by, and I can’t believe I’m already back with another update. I just got Twisted Throttle back from my editor and… let’s just say it wasn’t pretty. 😭

I loved the direction it was going, but somewhere along the way, the story veered off course. And when my editor said it was tricky for her too, I knew I wasn’t imagining things. The culprit? Emilio.

Typical Emilio. 🙄 He strutted in, hogged all the attention, and completely commandeered the story until it was just about him. Together, my editor and I had to backtrack, retrace the path, and wrestle the spotlight away to get the book back on track.

One project that surprised me recently was how quickly my dark romance anthology piece poured out. This story, Twisted Tulip, is part of a multi-author anthology releasing next spring, and it is nothing like anything I have written before.

It is gritty. Obsession driven. Set against foggy tulip fields and thunder rolling off the coast. PTSD, revenge, and a woman who might be both the target and the temptation.

The anthology will feature eight authors total, each contributing their own dark and dangerous tale. My personal challenge was to keep each chapter under 1,200 words so I do not wander off the rails. If you know me, you know that is no small feat.

I cannot wait for you to meet the characters of Twisted Tulip and to see how the entire collection comes together. It will be raw, emotional, and unforgettable.

Back in the trenches with Twisted Throttle
this week and let me tell you… Emilio and Massimo are refusing to behave, Sofía’s sass is next-level, and Paco has officially claimed a new dog mom. These chaos kings are running the asylum and I’m just holding on with my laptop.

On top of that, I’ve started sketching out plans for 2026. Books. Plural. Big announcements coming soon and you’ll want to be here for them.
