Beth Farrar loves family stories, forgotten history, small towns, and the surprising things that turn up when you start asking questions about the past.

She is the author of the Ellie McLellan Genealogy Mysteries, a feel-good cozy mystery series where genealogy, family secrets, friendship, and a little amateur sleuthing come together.

Beth believes every family has a story, and sometimes the most interesting stories are the ones hiding between the lines of an old record, photograph, letter, or family tree.

When she's not writing about Ellie and her friends in Percyville, Beth enjoys exploring family history and encouraging others to preserve their own stories and memories from the log cabin she shares with her husband north of Montreal.
