Suja Sukumar is an award winning author of YA suspense novels. Her debut When Mimi Went Missing won the Anthony award for Best YA/Children's novel and the Pencraft seasonal award for Best YA. Teen Vogue called it "a heartstopping debut". It has been featured in Crime Reads, Publisher's Weekly, Booklist, Library Journal, among others.
She is a member of SCBWI, Crime Writers of Color, Sisters in Crime, and International Thriller Writers.
She is also a primary care physician in suburban Detroit, where she lives with her family.
