is on page 121 of 256 of Strangers: I enjoy listening to memoirs because they read like a novel but are rooted in reality, especially when the narrator is the author. Strangers starts out with a bang when Belle Burden learns her husband cheated. What unfolded next was a wife's worst nightmare. Burden then goes back to the beginning, telling the story of her marriage. It's an absorbing read about life, lessons and a man's tyrannical mid-life crisis.
