M. Hüsnü Özkurt was born in Turkey. He served as a company commander at the Turkish-Iraqi border. He left the army to focus on writing. He published a horror short story collection in Turkish under the pen name Erdal Kuzgun. He writes controversial, provocative, and disturbingly dark stories. Hey, Amerikan!, a military/terrorism/revenge thriller, is his first novel. He’s recently published a supernatural horror short story collection called The Interrogation. He lives in Turkey. Aside from writing and reading, he spends his days listening to heavy metal and playing the electric guitar.
