Lena Christine Anderson, is a Swedish children's book author and illustrator , known for her books about Maja , among others Maja's alphabet .

Lena Anderson grew up in Stockholm. Encouraged by her drawing teacher at the school, she attended a three-year evening course at Konstfack . At age 16, she started working at Damernas Värld at Åhlén & Åkerlund's publishing house . She stayed at the publisher for 17 years and advanced to art director . There she also met Christina Björk , and together they made five-minute stories for TV. Anderson is represented at the National Museum , among others . ...more
