I see you're a fan of Poppy Z Brite, me too! Nice to meet you! :-)

Meatworks rocked my world. :)"
I saw from you lovely review. Thank you so much!

After dragging my feet four a couple of years finishing the book, I'm really eager to get it out now!
Welcome to Goodreads...try not to get drunk and read evil reviews and be tempted to reply :D
I'm finally figuring out how to use the parts of GR I like without seeing the ugly parts.

I love hearing that! It's edgier than I normally write so I'm hoping to get it in the hands of readers who are looking for that sort of thing.

I am SO HYPED for your new book!

I"m gonna fan you now too JUST FOR THAT."
I know, I saw your pic under a suggested friend list and thought, "Really? We're not?"

Woo hoo, perfect timing!

I checked it out from the library and then bought it in hardback so I could really savor it on the re-read."
Hey, I remember libraries! I even have a card, I should dust it off and use it now :)

ACK! Don't tell me about another series :)! I still have two of yours to go after this one!

Oh, how flattering! I love that feeling. Last time it happened to me I'd discovered Holly Blacks Curse Workers series.

I can't wait to hear what you think. A lot of times readers will send me a totally awesome email about something in one of my stories that touched them, and this email would easily make a fantastic review! I think there's something daunting about posting A Review in public.
Funny story, twelve years ago I left a review of a VCR on Amazon and for some reason (I got an email asking me a question about it and I'm like "what VCR? That was a million years ago") and I went back and looked and saw several people had marked the review as "unhelpful". I mean, really, get a life people.

I'm going to post my scatterbrained reviews on Amazon and Goodreads. I wish I was better at this. I'm a great reader who (despite four gruelling years of grad school) don't not ain't a writer. But I'm doing this! It's only write, cause I enjoyed the books SO. Much. It's only a few words of write, that I nonetheless want to be effective. And effusive.
Sorry I didn't write the reviews right after I gobbled up the books. That's the best way to do it. I'm on #4 in my OCD reread. Reviews are on the way, slowly but sholy.

I could have sworn we were too...no idea.
