Paige has been a rabid reader for as long as she can remember. She didn't acquire her two new loves - writing and business - until much later in life. Paige always dreamed of writing Young Adult Fantasy novels (for ages 9 and up).

However it took becoming a victim of corporate downsizing to give her the nudge she needed to go out on her own. Paige took that negative event and turned it into one of the best things that had ever happened to her.

Working from home and owning her own business has been her reality for over 10 years and she has spent the last five years planning and researching writing about her two loves - business and fantasy.

Paige is living her dream of working from home and writing full time. With her step-by-step guides to

“Buffalo Chicken Mac & Cheese This easy meal combines the flavors of buffalo wings and mac and cheese.  To cut down on prep/cooking time, use a pre-cooked rotisserie chicken! 1 Cup milk 1 (12 oz) can evaporated milk ¼ Tsp garlic powder ½ Cup buffalo hot sauce (Frank’s Red Hot is a good bet) 3 Cups shredded cheese (just cheddar or a mix if you’d like) 1 lb pre-cooked chicken, shredded ½ lb uncooked pasta (such as elbow macaroni) Chopped onion/celery/carrots, crumbled blue cheese (optional) Mix milk, evaporated milk, garlic powder, and hot sauce in slow cooker until combined.  Add salt & pepper (to taste).  Stir in cheese, chicken, and uncooked pasta. Cook on low for approximately 1 hour, stir, then continue cooking an additional 30-60 minutes, or until pasta is tender. Garnish with chopped vegetables and/or blue cheese (if desired).  Enjoy!”

message 60: by Paige

Paige Whew, that's a toughie as it's different for every writer. What do I do? For starters I put it away and concentrate on something else for a while (a game, a book, family fun, etc.), anything but the writing project I'm working on. Then I sleep on it. Normally that cures me. There've been a few times when it lasted more than a day and when that happened I do two things: first I brainstorm words, writing down everything that comes to mind (which has the strange effect of knocking down the writer's block wall almost every time). Secondly, I start working on something else entirely - just the act of writing seems to work for me in getting me past the block!

Hope this helps!
Paige :D

p.s. You can also search "writer's block" on the net and I'm sure you'll find hundreds of free helpful articles.

Cheryl Hi Paige:

Thank you so much for considering to add your vote for my debut romance Lancelot's Lady. It's been an exciting contest so far, and I'm really working hard at adding new chapters and editing them before the judges start reading (November).

I'd love to hear what you think!

Please consider checking out Lancelot's Lady right away. I now have 32 short chapters up. If you enjoy it, simply click on the blue thumbs up circle, and voila! I'll get a message saying you voted. Right now I'm in jeopardy of losing my lead as #1 Most Popular.

You'll hopefully get a great read and of course my undying gratitude. :-)

And don't worry, signing up on Textnovel.com is fast, easy and you won't get any spam.

Thank you again for the "maybe". If you've already voted thumbs up, THANK YOU!!! :-)

Ah Rita, you have both my sympathies and my congratulations. I didn't think so at the time but "downsizing" was the best thing that ever happened to me! :) If you do get to the point where you'd like to work from home and maybe need a little guidance (or just support) - I'd be more than happy to help! :D

Oh wow, that's a toughie! I think I'd have to go with "The Hobbit". As much as I love the continuing epics of both authors, the hobbit was the first book I read from either author and it's the one that stays with me. How about you? Which would you pick?
