| As a political jeremiad, cry de coeur, manifesto, Atlas is more prescient today than when it was written in '57. Its calls for the greatness of capitalism, the misguided attempts to sacrifice for others, and the victimization of those who achieve can ...more | |

| (3.4)Kress is a top notch writer of short fiction and this tale doesn’t cut corners. It’s emotionally complex and it draws a sharp line in how it represents human and alien culture…one could quibble about the evolutionary thesis posited but that etho ...more | |

Obviously they're going to be a lot less limited in publication than fiction, and I hardly have to explain why. I just don't quite understand why no decent results come back when I Google "top nonfiction picks published in 2025"... before 2024, I'd always find at least a few I was interested in each month, but ever since then, not so much. Is it just me? If it is, throw some suggestions my way? I'd greatly appreciate it if you know of any.
