Contemporary Christian romance and suspense writer, Sheila L. Jackson grew up reading different genres and styles of writing. Never in her wildest dreams did she imagine one day of becoming a writer herself. Years later, she decided it was time to take a leap of faith and put her pen into action. Her passion is to write fictional stories that tackle real life issues.

When Sheila is not writing, you can find her at the movies. She is a huge fan of the Marvel/DC Cinematic Universe and action/thriller/suspense movies.

Sheila has penned many articles, such as: Only the Strong Survive, Count it all Joy, Suffering in Silence, and The World of Sports-When the Glitz and Glamour Ends, which all appeared in Dream Magazine. Sheila also wrote: Voting Boo

Evolving as a Writer

No writer was born with a magical pad and pen in his or her hand that guaranteed them a bestseller. For most, it has taken years to hone their craft on the road towards becoming an award winning novelist. Evolving as a writer takes dedication, hard work, and an eagerness to learn all there is to know about the art of writing.

Several ways to evolve as a writer:

Arthur Ashe

“In this moment
Do not wait to be beautiful. Be your beautiful, authentic self right now.
If the world offers up negativity and despair, surprise the world by giving back love and kindness. Send out the energy that you wish to experience, and you are certain to experience it.

Happiness and fulfillment are alive in this moment. Allow them to flow freely and creatively through your life.
Fall in love all over again with the miracle of being. Your imagination is great and magnificent, yet it cannot hold even a fraction of the possibilities.

You'll do, say and act your best when you feel your best. Feel the limitless wonder of this very moment.
Be beautiful, alive, aware and filled with the energy of the possible. In this moment, is every dream made and fulfilled”
Ralph S. Marston Jr.

Sheila Jackson Through The Eyes of God by Sheila L. Jackson is a riveting guide that teaches you how to love yourself, your children and become a better you. We all have had our fair share of experiences with negative folks, but when we turn around and do the same things we are no better than they are. Stop speaking ill of others and be mindful that God made everyone an individual for a reason. If we were all supposed to be the same we would be, but some unique features or characteristics are in each of us. It is up to us to tap into what our divine meaning is supposed to be.

This guide is an easy read and you do not have to read it in any particular order. There is an answer in Through The Eyes of God for everyone. One of my favorite chapters speaks about what kind of influence we have over our children, and because we were hurt as kids we repress those emotions until we have our own children and then we end up repeating the cycle. Mrs. Jackson lets you know it is time to stop the cycle, start fresh and new.

Where as adults we can mask our hurt and anger through laughter and putting on a façade our children show it differently by acting out, turning to drugs or committing suicide. Compassionate, down-to-earth, heartfelt; these are just a few words that came to mind when reading Through The Eyes of God. This book is powerful and power-packed to only be 155 pages; the meaning is so deep and healing. I recommend Through the Eyes of God to readers of all genres, especially those that are looking for internal healing. I cannot wait to read the next book from Ms. Jackson--The Enemy Within. Great job Mrs. Jackson.
