Killing the Witches is a fascinating blend of history and cultural reflection. The early chapters vividly recount the Salem witch trials—grim, chaotic, and deeply unjust—but what I found most compelling was how O’Reilly and Dugard connect those event ...more

It’s hard for me to write a poor review about anything involving Steve Martin, because I absolutely love his movies — from Parenthood to Father of the Bride. Born Standing Up just didn’t land for me.

So far in 2025, this has been my best read. The Fish That Ate the Whale is more than just the story of Samuel Zemurray, the “Banana King”—it’s a wild history lesson told like a thriller.

What I loved most is how the author doesn’t just focus on Sam Ze

I’ll admit it—I picked this one up because I love James Patterson. If he can keep me glued to a thriller until 2 a.m., surely he can teach me how to level up my dad game, right? Well… not exactly.

“We don't have a choice on whether we do social media, the question is how well we do it?”
Erik Qualman

“Integrity is what you do behind closed doors or when you think nobody is watching. Integrity is the true essence of who you are, your beliefs and your values. Reputation is the public perception of who you are. It is how others view your integrity or strong moral principles.”
Erik Qualman, What Happens in Vegas Stays on YouTube: PRIVACY is DEAD. The NEW rules for business, personal, and family reputation.

“People who do surf the Internet for fun at work—within a reasonable limit of less than 20 percent of their total time in the office—are more productive by about 9 percent than those who don't,” according to Dr. Brent Coker, from the department of management and marketing at the University of Melbourne, Australia.”
