I just finished two new books for the educational market as part of a series on the planets of our solar system. Those will hit shelves in Fall 2025. Now, I'm playing around, drafting a new novel and polishing a middle grade novel and some picture book manuscripts. Sometimes, I think working writers underestimate the power of play! :)(less)

4.5 stars. Snappy, insightful, reminiscent of classic satires like Animal Farm. Much for me as an author to absorb here. Much for me as a reader to chew on. Much for me as a human to think about.

4.5 stars. Amazing character development and a fascinating take on a fairy tale trope (stepmother disowns, kicks out, disinherits step-children after father dies). My mind keeps returning to Danny and the women surrounding him - Maeve, his wife, Cele ...more
