Anne Schepers is a Dutch writer of fiction. She publishes about social mobility and is working on her second novel Het recht te vergeten. In 2023, her debut De daden was released by Lebowski Publishers.

Anne comes from a family of gardeners and dockworkers. At the age of 21, she graduated from her masters in political science. After this, she worked as a journalist at EenVandaag, Buitenhof and De Correspondent. She has been writing fiction ever since.

Anne participated in several residencies and regularly publishes columns, short stories and essays. Earlier work appeared in Tirade and on Hard//hoofd, among others. In her current work Anne is searching for the middle ground between socio-political developments, and a sense of wonder and hope.
