To me, being a writer is sharing a piece of my soul with the world. It is an act of love and service. I think the best thing about being a writer is that I help people escape into a world of possibility.

I love my imagination and I love creativity. I love to surprise myself with what comes to me. I love, love, love to get wrapped up in the emotions the characters are feeling and to see the scent in my imagination. I love to see the characters struggling and working through their issues. I love to see the conflict between two characters and how that conflict plays out. I love how what I write causes my readers to feel emotions, inspires them, and gives them a new perspective. I love that I am providing entertainment and in some small way, making a difference in the world. (less)
