Writer and illustrator of children’s picture books, Ruth has a growing collection of delightful tales for young readers. At the date of this update, Ruth has 8 picture books and 1 middle grade book available to the general public. All but the most recent picture book have one awards for the writing and/or illustration.

Ruth Amanda loves creating adventures for you and your children to read. She also loves to hunt for and photograph snails, slugs, ants, millipedes, monkeys, seagulls, puffins and any other unfortunate wildlife who happen to be discovered by the paparazzi. She is currently turning several of those creatures into characters for future works…coming soon!

The children I read to at the library did not engage with this story, for reference they were ages 4 to 8. Personally I found the illustrations were colourful and the story was good. The older children were more responsive to it than my younger liste ...more

Fun take on Christmas that was an engaging read! While I enjoyed it, the kids had some struggles with it though overall impressions were very favourable!
