Sierra Rose's Blog - Posts Tagged "evil"
Welcome to all!
I honestly don't blog often so bear with me. I'm Sierra and I'll certainly try to keep this up-to-date on my writings and other things.
To start, I guess I should say that I'm the author of a newly published novel called: Celtic Evil: A Fitzgerald Brother Novel: Roarke which is the first in a five part paranormal romantic suspense series based in Ireland and features the Fitzgerald brothers. All totally different from one another and also very talented in the magics they've hard since birth.
Roarke's tale begins the saga as the brothers are reunited after fifteen years apart when the evil witch that killed their parents returns to stop them from completing the long foretold prophecy that will doom him.
There are dangers from without and within in this story as Roarke struggles to face his pains, the guilt and shame that he's run from since childhood and only with the help of his brothers can he defeat this first challenge or loose not only his life and sould but those he loves.
This has been published and can be found on Amazon.com in both paperback and on Kindle. I'm currently working on the second book in the series which will be Ian's story.
I have also published a short action novella called Diablo's Return that may be expanded on in the future. There is also a poetry collection of small poems written while I dealt with my sister's battle with cancer and finally her death. The cookbook was just a collection a family recipes I put together for my Mother.
I'll see about placing a small excerpt of Roarke's book below.Celtic Evil A Fitzgerald Brother Novel Roarke

Stubborn characters
I've been working on the second book in my Celtic Evil series since I plan and still do plan on a Halloween release or close to it and had a wonderful start.....until my characters decided to change.
Since I was in high school I've been writing but never before did I encounter characters who actually seem to take over plots and change a complete storyline until I had to throw out the book and start over with another of the brothers. That's what I've been doing in between reading and reorganizing books.
So I'm hoping to see have the second book out by October since Ian totally changed my plot when he took over the book and has since then also caused a rewrite of the prologue and first two chapters. Also, as I've discovered it's not easy to find a good spot in a forest of Great Britain for demon dogs to show up. Very frustrating...it's also hard to stay focused on this series when other characters are beginning to yell for attention from an action book I have planned to expand on. It's got to be me. Not every author has to deal with these types of things surely.

New cover for Diablo's Return
I updated the cover for my short action story, Diablo's Return today, as well as fixed the description to the actual book blurb. I also chose to put it as a download on Goodreads.
Also, speaking of downloads, the one for Celtic Evil is in need of a password which is nightwing10. I didn't realize being password protected it would have to have the password since when I e-mail it it never does.
I guess there's things to learn everyday.

Operation Ebook Drop and More!
First, let me say that I have begun particpation in a wonderful program called Operation Ebook Drop. It's a stellar way to give something back to the men and women who serve our country by giving them a little reading distraction in their harried and often dangerous lives.
Celtic Evil: Roarke(yes, I know I left out the sub-title) is now waiting final review by the folks at Kindle before going live there again and I'm hoping to have the physical proof back from Createspace soon so I can get it back up on Amazon. It is on Goodreads (if the PDF opens since I can't get it to do anything) and also on Smashwords for downloads and also on Lulu.
Now that it's been edited I'll push the marketing a little harder toward the holidays though I might have stuck my foot into something I have no clue about by signing up for the NaNoWriMo which will be the first time I've considered doing something like that. Guess we'll see how that goes since lately it's been hard for me to put together a proper sentence much less 50,000 words of a new project.
