Stubborn characters
I've been working on the second book in my Celtic Evil series since I plan and still do plan on a Halloween release or close to it and had a wonderful start.....until my characters decided to change.
Since I was in high school I've been writing but never before did I encounter characters who actually seem to take over plots and change a complete storyline until I had to throw out the book and start over with another of the brothers. That's what I've been doing in between reading and reorganizing books.
So I'm hoping to see have the second book out by October since Ian totally changed my plot when he took over the book and has since then also caused a rewrite of the prologue and first two chapters. Also, as I've discovered it's not easy to find a good spot in a forest of Great Britain for demon dogs to show up. Very frustrating...it's also hard to stay focused on this series when other characters are beginning to yell for attention from an action book I have planned to expand on. It's got to be me. Not every author has to deal with these types of things surely.
