I was raised in a town known for where the Civil War ended, so it allowed me to use my imagination and make my own fun. There were definitely plenty of green fields to run in when I wasn't reading about some kind of adventure. I grew up with an affection for horror, mystery and detective stories and I have had a passion for writing for as long as I can remember. I've always loved the idea of being scared. In 2007, I was informed that my first piece of writing The Apparition And Other Tales Of The Supernatural , a collection of short horror fiction, was being published. Thoughts On 'Bring Forth The Night'

I loved writing this manuscript. I fell in love with the characters I was creating and began to think of them as real-life individuals outside of the main story. I spent many nights after a full time job coming home and seeking inspiration. Some nights it easily fell into place; other times I became impatient. It was rewarding in the end to see my creation take a life of its own.
