Waiting for Kage

Finished the final proofs for the newest Burke/Yamashita novel Kage. The cover art looks pretty cool as well.

Kage

Lots of good interest in Kage--see the interview featured in the latest webzine from the International Thriller Writers, the Big Thrill

The Writer's Life

One of the challenges of writing a series is the worry that you can grow stale in your writing.

Fortunately for me, I had a colleague who teaches with me in the Albertus Magnus MFA program who came by to say he thought that Kage was the best book in the series.

Always nice to know all that hard work has paid off for a reader.

Kage and The Writer's Dojo

It's been really gratifying to see the nice comments people have been making about Kage. That and the fact that I've started teaching again has gotten me thinking about the link between martial arts training and writing. I've started a new page on my website--The Writer's Dojo--where I'll be posting some ideas that I hope to turn into a small book on creative writing.
