I live in central Illinois with my husband and many pets. With my 120 pound dog George at my side, I'm attempting to combine my love of art with my newest love, to write. Why would a 'full-time worker by day' and 'want-to-be artist by night' write books? I have absolutely no idea, but I do believe that everything happens for a reason and, therefore, my insane drive to expose myself to the writing world must also serve a purpose. Only time will tell.

So...if you want to read simple stories about strong female characters and the power of love and friendship give my novels a try. If they help just one person escape for a few minutes from whatever is troubling them, I'll consider myself a success.

It is a light-hearted love story about a Pixie and Vampire that I hope will make readers smile.

In my Blue Fire series, I combined my love of drawing with writing. This time I combined my love for music with writing. Toward this goal, the book includes a music playlist to help set the mood and tone for each chapter. I hope to have the first book "Mistyx Sonata" published this summer and book 2 "Mistyx Duet" published shortly thereafter.

I am now on the mend and about to…moreSorry for the delay in responding. I had some health issues that forced me to put my writing on a shelf for a while. I am now on the mend and about to finish the first rough draft for Mistyx 3. This one focuses more on Jackie, Blade, Yarrow, Alec, and introduces a couple new characters. Life is never dull at the Mistyx tavern.

Although I couldn't write much for months, my ideas didn't stop. So I am also working on a wolf shifter series, a contemporary romantic comedy, and a fantasy/adventure series.

Journey continues…
