I'm a huge fan of the Meph boys, love their paranormal universe. How did you come up with the idea to write about the 7 sons of Mephistopheles and how did you pick the locations like their birthplace, hell on earth and their home base in the CO mountains?

It was after someone very close to me was sexually assaulted, and I felt so powerless to help her or get the justice she deserved. Her rapist is still walking around and it makes me nuts. So I think I dreamed of the brothers as a way to deal with my grief. I began to make up a world where they could be a part of it, and there you go. :) I picked Colorado because there are mountains there and I love mountains and snow - and there are acres and acres of land where no one ever goes. If they were real, and Lucifer needed to build them a home base, it made sense he'd do it in Colorado. I chose the Greek background because Elektra was Greek - and so all their names are Greek origin.

I somehow missed this question, Livia, and I'm so sorry! I really kind of suck at Goodreads. I should probably work on that. (less)
