Samuel Pimenta nasceu a 26 de Fevereiro de 1990, em Alcanhões, Santarém. Com 10 anos começou a escrever em prosa, com 13 em poesia e com 14 aventurou-se no texto dramático. Para além das colaborações que fez em jornais escolares, também viu alguns poemas e textos seus publicados em jornais regionais.
Em Junho de 2007, viu-se classificado em 2.º lugar num concurso de escrita realizado no âmbito da inauguração da Biblioteca Municipal Dr. Hermínio Duarte Paciência, em Alpiarça. Em 2010, foi um dos contemplados com o VI Prémio Literário Valdeck Almeida de Jesus na vertente de poesia, no Brasil.
