Samuel Pimenta nasceu a 26 de Fevereiro de 1990, em Alcanhões, Santarém. Com 10 anos começou a escrever em prosa, com 13 em poesia e com 14 aventurou-se no texto dramático. Para além das colaborações que fez em jornais escolares, também viu alguns poemas e textos seus publicados em jornais regionais.
Em Junho de 2007, viu-se classificado em 2.º lugar num concurso de escrita realizado no âmbito da inauguração da Biblioteca Municipal Dr. Hermínio Duarte Paciência, em Alpiarça. Em 2010, foi um dos contemplados com o VI Prémio Literário Valdeck Almeida de Jesus na vertente de poesia, no Brasil. No próximo dia 17 de Julho, Domingo, estarei na FNAC Alfragide para uma 2.ª edição da tertúlia Conversas Fantásticas, pelas 16h. Comigo, estarão os escritores Fábio Ventura e Milene Emídio, à semelhança do que aconteceu na 1.ª edição, em Novembro de 2010.
