The Proving of a New Homeopathic Remedy

1st July 2023 10.16am

Proving A New Homeopathic Remedy

I'm not too sure what possessed me to want to do another homeopathic proving, as they're very time intensive and also take a LOT of organising.

However, after having a little word with myself, I made the decision to start this one and do everything I could to make it as well organised as possible.

I checked I wouldn't be doing it during a Mercury retrograde and I'm not.

I put the call out to my Newsletter subscribers, and 16 people kindly volunteered.

After a few days, four dropped out for various important and legitimate reasons, leaving me with 12 provers.

Then I put the call out for some male provers and two gentlemen kindly volunteered.

Then a new subscriber asked to be included and a homeopath colleague also got in touch, so I'm now back to 16 provers: 14 ladies and two gentlemen.

The proving starts today for the UK provers: 1st July 2023 at 9am local time.

Five provers live in USA

One in New Zealand

One in Spain

One in Jersey

Eight in UK

Here is the map showing where everyone is located

Map of Provers

The reason I'm happy about the location of the provers will become evident when the proving substance is revealed.

I've already had two doses of the remedy, just so I know what the provers will feel like as the proving progresses.

The prover in Spain, the prover in New Zealand and the four USA provers haven't received their remedies yet as I only posted their remedies on Sunday 25th and it can take five to seven working days for letter-post to arrive.

They will start their provings (obz) when their remedies arrive and I'll update when that happens.

I'm aiming on updating my blog during the proving so that I can have a record of the actual process of the proving, from my perspective.

Big thanks and a massive shout-out to the provers, the two supervisors and to John Lee at Helios for actually creating the remedy, which I will write more about when the proving is completed.

This blog is purely about my process.

Tuesday 4th July 9.31pm

Now I don't know if I'm proving the remedy in full swing or not

I think I might be.

Today has been chaotic

I'd got some figures wrong last night and corrected them this morning for a relative.

Then I realised I hadn't done our food order, so rushed to do that and couldn't find my usual slot.

A prover who had not been in contact, got in contact again and we spoke online, so now I have another person to keep an eye on.

17 provers.

I can't possibly take on anymore provers so anyone else who asks will be a 'No'.

One prover didn't show up for her supervision yesterday. I sent her a note on Skype. I hope she's OK.

Another prover had to change her appt from this evening and I slotted her in on Thursday then realised I was looking at the wrong week in my diary, so I rang her and we changed the date/time to 7.30pm then I realised that I didn't have that time and had to email her to change it again to 7pm

Meeting with other supervisors on Thursday morning. Glad about that.

I'm now panicking that the remedies haven't arrived in the USA seven days after posting them but I know that's not realistic and I need to wait a little longer before I completely panic...

Brighton, Northampton, Wales, London, Wiltshire have all had their remedies.

So have Jersey and Spain.

Just the five in USA and the newbie who re-contacted today are waiting, but that one lives in Hampshire and theirs should arrive by Friday at latest...

Four USA provers, from the original mailing ought to have their remedies tomorrow.

And New Zealand

Thank goodness it's my day off tomorrow and I can relax a tad

I'm going to go to Butterfly World in Swindon. Hoping the butterflies will be 'awake' and I can see some fluttering around. I rang yesterday and asked it they had any Painted Ladies, but no-one rang me back. I think they're short-staffed as they had an advert on their site for someone to work with the butterflies.

THEN I noticed I'd double-booked with a friend for this Friday. I have a prover booked in and I'd added her in on top, so I've texted her if she can move forwards by 30 mins (we meet online for Non-Fiction Book Reading Group)

All in all it seems like nothing is 'settled' everything is up-in-the-air, which is a strange sensation.

I'm also wanting to drink orange juice, but I don't have any, so I'm eating the oranges I have in stock but it's not the same. Last week I was eating orange lollies but I've eaten them all now.

My sweet tooth is in overdrive, that better not last or my blood-sugars will go overboard:(

Did some crochet which was nice but I ran out of yarn. I'll have to spin some more but I can't be bothered...

I'm swinging all over the place and I need to settle. which doesn't even seem possible at the moment.

Thursday 6th July, 8.18pm

Georgia and Florida prover's remedies arrived, which is great. Hoping the others arrive soon.

Went to Butterfly World yesterday on my day off, and had SUCH a lovely time.

Butterflies landed on my Summer Festival crochet cardigan and on my hat! Amazing seeing them fluttering around the enclosure. Took loads of photos and videos. I was transfixed. Went round three times. Twice before lunch, then once again afterwards.

Then I went into the garden centre there and bought a California Lilac, and planted it in our garden when I got home.

Beautiful shade of pale blue...

Spoke to prover today who said he : "flicked' around and that he "tends to flitter about and scatter" all very butterfly words.

Next prover said her symptoms were like "gassy, like butterflies in tummy, giddy"

She also said she'd like to drink "elderflower, sweet, fizzy water" and that she wanted to go out and buy honeysuckle and that her sense of smell had increased.

Both provers talked about gardens and being outside.

Great to hear the remedy has started working with/in the provers.

I LOVE provings and I especially love when provers start talking about stuff related to the remedy which confirms to me that something is happening and it's not all random cherry-picking.

Saturday 8th July 10.14am

Urrggghhh. Remdies haven't arrived in Colorado or Ohio :( They have reached new Zealand, Florida, Georgia, which is good and the one sent to California is a week behind everyone else...

Not sure what to do now? Tell them to carry one waiting? Or send again another way? Or ask the Higher Powers for some assistance or just trust that the postal services will eventually land those last two remedies in the right places.

This proving was only supposed to last for the month of July. Maybe I'm being impatient. I blame my fire sign Leo Ascendant.

Still obsessed with butterflies. Bought sooooooo many books. Even downloaded the iRecord Butterflies app and have been busy (a key butterfly word) recording all the butterflies I can photo whenever I go somewhere. I know I could record sightings, but I've challenged myself to photo on my iPhone as many as I can of each different variety. So far I've uploaded 40 piccies.

It certainly is NOT easy to photo a butterfly!

It's not like a bird that you can maybe catch when it feeds somewhere or lands somewhere.

Butterflies only stay for seconds on leaves or flowers or grasses. Then they ping off to somewhere else. They longest they seem to stay is when the sun is shining on them and they'er absorbing the sun's rays to give them some oooomph. Even when they're nectaring, they only stay on the plant long enough for a quick top-up of nectar, then they're off again...

And they pop out of nowhere... one minute they're there, the next they're gone.

It's a real challenge.

The only way to manage it that I've found is to stay near to wherever they seem to like 'being' and hope that one will reverse and come back to where I'm stood. I suppose if I sat still somewhere I might see more. Don't know, I haven't tried that....yet..

Cyber bullying Doesn't Stop Local Author Writing About Her Therapy

p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px Helvetica} p.p2 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px Helvetica; min-height: 14.0px}
Cyber bullying Doesn't Stop Local Author Writing About Her Therapy

When local Homeopath, Mary English, secured a book deal for her latest book A Little at a Time, Homeopathy for You and Those You Love  she said:
"I was so excited when I received the email to tell me my book had been accepted. "
Miss English who has worked as a Homeopath, a form of Alternative and Complementary Healing, for over 20 years in the Bath area, had mixed feelings when her publisher Ayni Books approached her and asked her if she'd write a guide to Homeopathy for their imprint on Complementary and Alternative approaches to health and wellbeing.
Mary was reluctant at first as she had suffered considerable stress from cyber bullies and skeptics intent on silencing her and her therapy.
"My husband, family and clients were so supportive" said Mary "I just carried on practising, albeit more quietly than before. It made me nervous of promoting my business, then when the book offer arrived I realised I had to speak out about this wonderful, healing, gentle therapy. So many people benefit from it's natural approach and their health blossoms."
Homeopathy is a form of medicine discovered and developed by a German doctor, Samuel Hahnemann in 1789.
The Law of Opposites There are two types of healing. The law of similars and the law of opposites. In the law of opposites a patient is given a medicine to do the opposite of what it wrong with them. They could be given an 'anti-acid' to stop their stomach from producing acid to relieve indigestion.
The Law of Similars In the law of similars a patient is given a remedy that would produce the same symptoms they're suffering from, but in a minute dose to encourage the body's own healing powers.
This is a little like vaccination.
In Homeopathy a similar medicine is used, something that would produce the same symptoms the person is suffering from.
Samuel Hahnemann Hahnemann qualified in medicine but was dismayed at the treatments offered to patients as they were cruel and barbaric and involved leeching and dangerous poisonous chemicals. So to supplement his income he translated medical texts but there was one where he disagreed with it's author. Cullen, another doctor of the time stated in his book that the reason Cinchona Bark (Cortex Peruvianus which contains quinine) cured malaria was 'because it was bitter'.
Hahnemann knew that there were plenty of other herbs that were bitter, but none of them cured malaria so he decided to take some doses himself and have his wife observe him.
After taking a dose he discovered he had all the symptoms of malaria:
"I became languid and drowsy; then my heart began to palpitate; my pulse became quick and hard: an intolerable anxiety and trembling; prostration in all limbs: pulsation in the head; redness of the cheeks; thirst."
He had discovered he had all the symptoms of malaria and when he discontinued the medicine, he was "once more in good health."
Like Cures Like This discovery prompted him to spend the rest of his (long) life developing the principle of LIke Cures Like.
Homeopathy is available privately and sometimes on the N.H.S depending on where you live.
"My book details Homeopathy's history, present day availability, philosophy, actual cases from my practice and simple remedies to use at home for common complaints." says Mary "My clients love the fact they can help themselves with colds, headaches, acne and upset tummies with no fear of side-effects or drug dependance."

The Homeopathic proving of 'Tempesta' the Storm by Mary English DSH

p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px Helvetica}
This proving is given to you in the spirit of 'free speech' to allow you to read about what happens during a proving. What is recorded here is what the provers felt, dreamt, thought and experienced during the proving weeks. You can draw your own conclusions but please be kind enough to respect that this work took months to collate and was conducted in a professional, caring manner. I would appreciate you being/doing the same when /if you comment on it.

p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px Helvetica} The Homeopathic proving of 'Tempesta' the Storm by Mary English
Certain things happened before I conducted this proving and I will just out-line the build-up.  p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px Helvetica} p.p2 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px Helvetica; min-height: 14.0px}
I was a student Homoeopath. I studied for 2 years at Regents College in London , then transferred to The School of Homoeopathy in Devon run by Mr Misha Norland.
In my original ignorance I believed that anything was possible (I still do). I read books about the ancient crafts , the way women used to live, with the earth , with herbs , with experience. I admit I dabble.............so one day when I was sitting on my back step , a storm ensued. I popped into the kitchen and got a remedy bottle and left it in the garden and captured the rain in it. There was a small amount of thunder , a flash or two of lightning.....after about 20mins it went as quickly as it had come. But I left the bottle there until the calm came , and after a while , took it back in. I added some brandy and left it on the shelf in the kitchen.

A few weeks later I had some friends round for drinks and chats and remembered that I'd got this 'remedy' and asked if anyone wanted to try it.My sister, being a true Aquarius, was well up for it, and we all had a drop in our drinks. This was not a proving. I hadn't really much idea about provings, but anyway we all sat there and the conversation got round to fires and, it's quite strange looking back, how we all had a story to tell of buildings burning and escaping from them, or being near them or cars igniting, that sort of stuff. p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px Helvetica} The party animal who is normally the last to go to bed, suddenly announced she was very weary and retired to her camper van.
Weeks elapsed, then my sister told me she'd met a new bloke. She had finished with her old boyfriend, after a lot of trauma, and this new man had (very romantically) captured her heart. Then I got a call to say another 'prover' had found a new woman having gone through a horrible divorce.........I was pleased for them both. I even gave some live on air to the presenter of BBC Radio Bristol and I've still got on tape his primary reaction to imbibing a storm. I took more remedy myself in the mistaken, and un-homoeopathic belief, that more is best...I basically overdid it and had a very short-lived fling.  p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px Helvetica} Then the bottle leaked into my handbag and that was the end of that!

A year later, in May 1999, another storm began during a week of weird events (for me) and it was an evening storm. Hooray! I ran into the garden with my bottle and laid it on the step, then sat in my verandah and watched it all unfold.I LOVE storms. Thunder raged, lightning flashed, and rain beat heavily onto the ground; no wind, just pure energy wrapped around me. This time I left the bottle only for the height of the proceedings. I wanted to get the maximum amount of whooooosh captured. I ran into the deluge and rescued my bottle and skipped back inside. Storm 2 sat on the shelf overnight.  p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px Helvetica} The next day I sent it to my chum John Lee at Ainsworths and he made it into a nice 6c and sent me back the remedy.
p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px Helvetica} I then set about organising a proving, having learned about them from Jeremy Sherr's book The Dynamics and Methodology of Homeopathic Provings, published by Dynamis Books, from college and Samuel Hahnemann : verse 121 Organon of the Medical Art, published by Birdcage Books.

I was worried that this remedy would be rubbished by other Homeopaths, so I was at pains to ensure that the proving I did was a cross section of people: male, female, gay, straight and also an actual Homoeopath.

(I tried to find, and managed to get, all the elements from astrology; Earth, Air, Fire and Water; namely; Taurus x2, Libra x2, Gemini, Leo, Scorpio and Pisces. This is because I have an interest in astrology.)

My final proving list involved 8 volunteers. Only 2 of them knew each other. Everyone else only knew me.
p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px Helvetica} p.p2 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px Helvetica; min-height: 14.0px} The proving took place in August 1999.
p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px Helvetica} The Nature Of a Storm p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px Helvetica} p.p2 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px Helvetica; min-height: 14.0px} Storms mostly occur in England during the early summer and generally last only 1-2 hours.
They begin when a parcel of warm, moist air close to the ground rises quickly, creating an unstable situation with upcurrents and downcurrents all vying for attention. The condensation that is formed bashes about with the water droplets creating static electricity with negative electrical charges collecting in the middle and lower parts of the cloud and positive charges collecting at the top.

Eventually the differences between these two charges is so great that BANG a massive spark is released as the charges even themselves out. Lightning is the negative charge trying to reach the ground as quickly as possible and is attracted to places that are positively charged; i.e. that tree you're standing under or T.V. arial on your roof. When the two charges meet, that's the flash you see.
Thunder is the sound of air expanding at super speed 'cos the lighting has heated it up to the temperature of the Sun in seconds flat. (Bet you didn't know that air could make a sound!)
Basically the inside of a storm cloud is chaos trying to find a way to sort itself out and re-balance. p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px Helvetica} The Provers consisted of : 1) Male (gay),  2) Female,  3) Male,  4) Female,  5) Female,  6) Male,  7) Female,  8) Female.
Dreams p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px Helvetica} p.p2 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px Helvetica; min-height: 14.0px} 7) I then had a dream that he was an old fashioned sailing ship with drawers. Inside the drawers were old fashioned tools.
4) Dreamed of the end of the world , or a least , massive tsunami (tidal wave) hitting San Francisco. I was with an alien who seemed to know what was going to happen and was getting an underground shelter ready. Alien was yellow and furry.
8) Very unpleasant dream where I was in court re the death of my son, some considerable time after the event. Threat of imprisonment or indefinite psychiatric detention hung over me and I felt my life was ruined. The judge adjourned the case for a private psychiatric review at which I had no representation. My godmother who is herself a psychiatrist said the tribunal chairwoman was dreadful. I had to appeal against the judge's ruling to have the nature of the hearing changed so that I could have any (e.g. legal) representation.<
8) Working in an office looking at maps of rivers and harbours. An official was visiting and he was meant to check each person's work in turn, but he wouldn't come and sit with me, each time he'd find a reason to go off and do something else - even though my colleagues said he should sit with me and check my work, and it was simple work and wouldn't take long.
8) Dream of having hair highlighted at a hairdressers and it goes wrong. Some of the hair comes out very pale blonde and other parts bright red. Feel bad about the whole business.
8) My brother was ill in hospital (youngest brother). He was like a zombie. It was proposed that this was a psychiatric condition , but I protested that no search had been made for any physical cause it might have, such as hypothyroidism and that this ought to be done. There was a feeling of powerlessness against the establishment and having to fight to defend my rights - quite similar to the feeling of the first dream.
6) I cannot remember any dreams but I do know that I dreamed often. I remember that they were dreams about the days events but the sleep was very deep and I was unable to recall facts in the morning. As if I was working hard subconsciously but also very deeply.
5) Dreamed about painting houses and scavenging (skips etc.)
5) Dream of groups of people and kids, not family but family groups. General interaction.
5) Slept deep. Dreamed that other people's belongings had been left at my door.
5) Dreamed vividly. Dreamed that I met up with my brother. (I've only 'met up' like this twice before since he died) He took me to a room and then left me there. In the room were a group of angels. They made a fuss over the condition of my chest and gave me a long and strong healing.

Primary Action
7) Mild panic / excitement. p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px Helvetica} p.p2 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px Helvetica; min-height: 14.0px}
4) Felt energised, mostly mentally, seemed to reinforce my positive side.

8) Immediately, feeling of increased energy.
6) Mentally I felt a little confused.
5) Muzzy head.
Physical Symptoms p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px Helvetica} 2) My periods seemed to be protracted by about 2 days from normal - very little flow but just not stopped properly - dark brown blood for the last 3 days - very small amount.
2) My pre-menstrual symptoms seemed to be a lot less intense this month - only really a slight dull ache - far less emotional swings.8) Period was shorter and lighter than usual ( 3-4 days )
Generalities8) Tingling feeling generally , almost like having an orgasm.4) Got hot throughout body - feet felt cool. Head
8) Headache , frontal , left-sided. Day 2.
5) Head feels muzzy. Day 1.
5) Migraine-type headache , before bed. Day 3
Nose 5) Heightened sense of smell. Day 4

Stomach2) Wanted to eat a lot , starchy , wheaty things which I feel slightly sluggish on.
5) Crave salty food , meat pizza , meat and wheat , feel sleepy
Abdomen 1) Shooting cramps in intestines , feels like I've got intestinal parasites.
Stool 8) Laxative effect , soft stool twice in morning rather than once, and more formed.Day 1.
5) Remedy 8am , 10.44 Diarrhoea. Day 1
5) Feel full , tired , diarrhoea. Day 2.
Extremities8) Tingling feeling in wrists , ulnar aspect , bilateral.
2) Red spots and itching around the knees which scabbed when scratched , red, 3mm across , not hot just itchy , turned into pussy scab with very little scratching.
p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px Helvetica} Themes of Storm Remedy~ Tempesta p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px Helvetica} p.p2 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px Helvetica; min-height: 14.0px} Sexually predatory vs. Celibate  Reckless vs. Responsible  Liberation & Freedom vs. Imprisonment & Incarceration  Sexually predatory .8) Noticed people more in a sexual way, more readily felt attracted to people; e.g. walking down the road, builders were working outdoors stripped to the waist, I thought they had good bodies (not usually my style)
1) Firstly one of my friends boyfriends went away for a while, so he was feeling lonely and one thing led to another and we kind of got together a couple of times and committed acts of gross indecency. Next there's ******. A really sweet guy. His boyfriend was also away so once again we got together and once again lust and desire won over common sense.
6) I woke up each morning with women on my mind. This may have just been all my chickens come home to roost but there were some old birds I hadn't heard from in a long time and there were some new ones I hardly recognised.

Celibate7) We decided to spend the night together without having sex as he was already in a relationship.
6) I spent a night in bed (just cuddling ) with an ex that I've always wanted to get back with and then decided that I didn't feel that way about her anymore. We split up 3 years ago.
Reckless 8) I drank rather freely , champagne kept being poured out, and I think I was in a reckless mood and could have got into something I couldn't handle.
5) In a feisty mood. Organise (badger) the others up the Tor.
4) Felt energised (mostly mentally) and seemed to reinforce my positive side. Had 3 clear winners on horses !

Responsible 6) It was like actually counting up how many beers you drink each week and realising you had a problem.
3) I have been thinking a lot about having children - in the past I've always been dead against having them but I think I might be becoming a little broody.
1) There are now plans to split up some of the other teams and give them to me so that I have more responsibility and so my profile can be raised.

Imprisonment & Incarceration 7) I was locked into my bathroom at 11.30pm , alone with 3 children. I called for help. Eventually my neighbours heard me, called my brother, who eventually got into the house. The lock was so broken that he had to kick the door in.
7) In meditation with my friend I saw a past life experience when I was imprisoned
8) Very unpleasant dream where I was in court. Threat of imprisonment or indefinite psychiatric detention hung over me and I felt my life was ruined
8) A lot of thoughts about a pregnant Irish woman who was imprisoned in Holloway on IRA related charges.
Liberation & Freedom4) Felt dawning of possibility of freedom, however, mentally able to see a way out of long-term situation, although still no physical means. That seemed a significant change, not feeling totally trapped and hopeless anymore.
3) Cravings for solitude and mountains have gone. Feel more relaxed and now not frustrated as my desire to earn a living from Chinese medicine has at last been fulfilled.
2) This is quite hard to describe - but I am different from how I was at the beginning of the proving quite substantially. I became particularly conscious of this on my birthday when I spent the day with women friends - not planned it just happened - and I came to a real understanding of how completely wonderful it is to hang out with my girlfriends and brings me more joy than male company does.

Unrequited Love and Astrology

One thing that I get asked a lot, mostly by ladies is: ‘Am I compatible with Mr X’.

Now, even people that know nothing about Astrology somehow know, maybe it’s because of magazine articles, that Astrology will give them some insight into the sort of people who will make them a good partner.

This is perfectly true.

Astrology will highlight aspects of your chart and your beloved’s that are good.

However, what Astrology won’t do, is ‘tell you’ or indicate, or suggest if that person you’re thinking of falling in love with….has also fallen in love with you!

Compatibility

I have written about this before

About a lady who was absolutely, 100% convinced that the man who would be her soul-mate was….Michael Jackson.

And considering this particular lady lived in Iceland, thousands of miles away from Mr Jackson in the USA, and she had no intention of packing up and leaving Iceland, I was at a loss to understand how she thought she’d be able to make a relationship from this 100% compatibility.

Don’t let this happen to you!!

In fact, if you’re dating someone right now DO NOT ask me if you’re compatible until at least 3 months into your relationship.

You might be 110% compatible with Mr’/Miss/Ms Right but she might leave the lid off the toothpaste, or kiss her dog lots, or have terrible relatives, or he might snore, or lie in when you’re raring to go, or they might like lots of spices in their food and you don’t. There are plenty of reasons to NOT get along with someone, so please curb your urge to find out your compatibility.

When they don’t love you back

Now, in affairs of love, the worst case scenario is when you love someone, madly, deeply and completely….and they don’t love you back.

At first, they might be polite and answer your texts, or calls or say ‘Hello’ to you at work or on the bus or in the pub but that doesn’t makes them fancy you.

They might even talk with you, or laugh at your jokes, or even kiss you, but that still doesn’t mean they’re in love with you.

They might even sleep with you, borrow money from you, take your child/ren to school, make their breakfasts, but still, they might not love you.

A long time ago I did a phone reading for lady who loved someone she worked with. She’d made a stuffed doll of this man (!) and wanted to know if it was a good idea for her to send it to this man of her dreams.

I very firmly told her it was not.

When someone is in a bad way, and ‘madly’ in love that isn’t reciprocated, being gentle or subtle does NOT work. It takes a lot of effort and energy to convince someone that the person they’re ‘madly’ in love with, doesn’t love them back.

The love object might have already dropped lots of subtle hints and the loved-up person is SOOOOOOO busy ‘being madly in love’ that they haven’t picked up all these subtle cues.

I’ve had clients write their love object letters, emails, send them presents (this happens a lot), buy them/or cook them meals, buy them clothes, put them up, take them ‘under their wing’, text them incessantly, Facebook post them, tweet them (doesn’t happen too much) Instant-gram them, bombard them with social media messages until the love object goes into hiding.

Imagine for a minute, someone you REALLY don’t like bombarding you with affectionate and obsessional messages and communications.

Imagine how you would feel.

You certainly wouldn’t want to date them, love them or sleep with them. In fact some men Do sleep with them in the faint and desperate hope that the Love-Up-Person will then leave them alone.

Then starts the bargaining.

“If only I can invite him/her over for lunch, if only I can see him/her for just a drink, or a film, or even a talk, or a chat”…and the obsession grows like a sort of Hungry Ghost, eating everything in it’s way.

Astrologically the sort of people who are more likely to do this are people with Pluto near the Ascendant, or in the 1st or 12th houses and I really recommend if this is you, to read Donna Cunningham’s Healing Pluto Problems .

No other book comes near her very practical advice.

Now, don’t think for one minute I’m only telling you this because I’m a therapist. I’m explaining what happens from a place of personal experience and I know exactly what happens, so really this post is to help you, because I had it happen and I know what it’s like.

I have noticed it’s worse in those clients who have lost their fathers, or in men who have lost their mothers when young. That death brings a deep sense of loss that only a close personal relationship can bring. But the grief of losing that parent has never truly been healed, and the Hungry Ghost of Love eats their energy and makes matters much, much worse.

Have a think about your life, have you lost someone? Has someone died that you loved and you thought you’d never replace that love?

So, how do you know is someone does love you?

When they do love you back

You’ll know because they’ll tell you.

They’ll text and say it.

Email and say it.

Say it to your face.

They’ll write you letters, doodle your name, make post-it notes about you, put random pictures on your notice board and write how much they love that person in the photo… and more….

Homeopathic Remedies ~ Tablets, Types & How to Take Them

Homeopathic RemediesIn this article I will be sharing how Homeopathic remedies are made, where to buy them, in what form they're sold and how to self-prescribe safely.
Homeopathic remedies have been available since the late 1700s when Samuel Hahnemann first discovered the healing properties of natural substances. They are now available worldwide and are easy and safe to take at home.

In this video https://www.helios.co.uk/remedies/remedy-preparation you will see how remedies are prepared.

It is radically different to conventional medicines or drugs.

Remedy tablets

Tablets supplied by https://www.helios.co.uk/

Most people buy their remedies either as lactose 'milk sugar' tablets or round pilules made from sucrose, which have been impregnated with a solution of tincture made from the remedy source. They can also be given in powder form or in tiny granules which are popular for babies who have no teeth to crunch the tablets.  Nelson's Teetha Granules
Some remedies are available as ointments to rub on the skin:
Neal's Yard Arnica Salve
And some are available as ‘mother’ tinctures....made from the plant or mineral source.
These can be mixed with water to make lotions for bathing, gargling or rubbing on the skin
 Arnica Tincture

And some are prepared into liquid potencies for those who are allergic to lactose or don't want to swallow tablets.

How to Take Homeopathic Remedies. These are very subtle medicines that affect the controlling mechanisms of the body rather than the physical body itself. They are very delicate and can be damaged by being touched by the fingertips. It's best if they are not be handled at all (if possible).
For both children and adults, a dose is one tablet or drop or two pilules or enough granules to cover the base of the container lid or the nail of the little finger. Powders are normally dispensed in individual doses.
However - quite unlike orthodox medicines - it is the potency of the remedy (the number which is shown after its name such as 30c or 9x) and the frequency with which it is taken that determine the strength of its action.

The amount taken at each dose is not critical.
Nelson's Clikpak

Some remedies are sold in clicker packs, which make it easy to drop pilules straight into the mouth.
Otherwise, you may need to tip the dose into the lid of the remedy bottle or the palm of your hand first.
Drop the remedy directly onto or underneath your tongue without otherwise touching the mouth. Then just let it dissolve - don’t swallow it straight away - so it can be absorbed by the mucous membranes in the mouth. This means it will quickly be absorbed into the body without having to go all the way through your digestive track.
Solutions are supplied in dropper bottles so one or two drops can easily be put directly on the tongue, without touching the mouth. The dropper should be sterilised between uses.
Remedies are best taken in between meals, at least half an hour after eating when your mouth doesn’t taste of anything else, such as food, drink, tobacco or toothpaste. After taking a remedy, try to allow at least 15 minutes before putting anything else in your mouth so they can be fully utilised by the body. In emergencies do your best to make sure the mouth is as empty as possible of stuff before you take the remedy.
Can I Overdose with Homeopathic Remedies?
The short answer is No.
The longer answer is that the dosage is influenced by frequency rather than quantity.
Homeopathic remedies are quite safe however much is taken at once; it still constitutes one dose.

If the remedy is taken by someone other than the patient for whom it was intended, it will have no effect anyway as it will not match their symptom picture. One of the delights of homeopathy is its safety.
However, do keep your remedies away from small children or you may find your collection is wiped out in one go as the tablets taste sweet! If small children do swallow a large quantity at once, the sugar content of the remedy may cause transient diarrhoea. The homeopathic equivalent of an overdose is when a remedy is "proved" or begins to cause the symptoms that it is intended to cure. This can happen when a remedy is taken for very prolonged periods. So don’t continue with a remedy once it has worked in order to prevent a relapse. It’s quite unnecessary and actually counter-productive.

More information on provings is on my website here How Homeopathic Provings Work
Remedy safety.Homeopathic remedy high dilutions make them safe for all ages and conditions. You can't overdose or have too much, you can't poison yourself or become allergic to the tablet's contents.
However, like any medical system you have to be very aware of what 'health' and 'disease' are like and what is safe to continue to treat at home. If you're unsure or your symptoms are getting worse, do seek medical help.
What to Avoid When Taking Homeopathic Remedies.Aromatic substances such as coffee, tobacco, highly perfumed cosmetics and toiletries, strong smelling household cleaners, some aromatherapy oils that contain aromatic oils - particularly peppermint, camphor, eucalyptus and tea-tree - all have the ability to antidote homeopathic remedies and should be avoided completely when treating acute ailments with homeopathy.

If you have a chronic complaint and your symptoms are steadily improving with homeopathic treatment, you could gradually reintroduce them but not within half an hour of taking the remedy.
Homeopathy and Conventional Medicine.Homeopathic medicines will not interfere with any drugs you are taking. However a number of orthodox drugs such as steroids, major and minor tranquillisers, oral contraceptives, sleeping pills and antihistamines can make the choosing of the correct homeopathic medicine difficult and may modify or block the effects of homeopathic medicines. If you want to come off orthodox drugs, discuss the matter with your medical practitioner or homeopath first.

DO NOT STOP TAKING ANY PRESCRIBED MEDICATION WITHOUT FIRST CONSULTING YOUR MEDICAL PRACTITIONER OR HOMEOPATH.
If you visit a homeopath for a consultation, be sure to tell them what drugs you are taking.
If Your Symptoms Improve:)If you feel that your condition is improving before you come to the end of the pack...

Stop Taking the Remedy!
There is no benefit in continuing to take a remedy once your symptoms have started to disappear or reduce.

Remember, the effectiveness of homeopathic remedies depends on matching your symptom picture to the remedy picture as precisely as you can, and then taking the smallest possible dose for the least possible time. Once the remedy has delivered its message, your body’s own drive towards health, known in homeopathy as the ‘Vital Force’ will do the rest.If the condition returns, re-start the remedy and repeat as necessary.Homeopathy does not work in the same way as many orthodox treatments, where the course must be completed.
What To Do If Symptoms Get Worse.Remedies are very safe and don’t have any known side effects. However, an ‘aggravation’, or a temporary worsening of symptoms, is not unusual when taking homeopathic remedies. In fact it’s usually a good sign.
It shows that the remedy has been recognised by the body.

A wrong remedy will have no effect either way.

In acute conditions, discomfort may increase for a few minutes, seldom more.

In chronic conditions, an aggravation may last longer but rarely for more than a day or two.
The correct thing to do in such circumstances is to
Stop Taking the Remedy ...and wait until your symptoms improve, as they almost certainly will. If improvement continues, there is no need to take the remedy again. If improvement stops, restart the remedy. Where improvement continues for a while, then stops, leaving you with nagging symptoms, take the remedy in a higher potency.
For instance, if you are taking a 6c, start taking doses of 30c.
If an aggravation has not subsided within three days, contact your homeopath.
If worsening symptoms are accompanied by a general deterioration in your health or you have been diagnosed with a condition which is potentially serious, contact your medical practitioner or a homeopath ASAP.

If worsening symptoms are accompanied by any of the following:
A persistent temperature of 39 °C -102 °F or over Spitting blood or passing blood in stools or urine A rigid and painful abdomenIncreasing breathlessness and chest pain confusion or abnormal drowsiness...phone the emergency services ASAP
What to Do If Some Symptoms Improve but Others Don’t.If you feel better in yourself, gradually cut down the remedy doses - the physical symptoms should improve in time. If you get 'stuck', you may need another remedy, probably one that complements the previous one, or a different potency, any number of things could be going on...
In that case it would be best to consult a professional homeopath. http://www.findahomeopath.org/

Similarly, if you experience relief from physical symptoms but find that mental symptoms remain troublesome, you are definitely advised to contact a homeopath.
What to Do If New Symptoms Appear.First...
Stop The Remedy
You may be proving it. The symptoms should quickly disappear. If they do not, you may have the wrong diagnosis or remedy. Recheck and call your medical practitioner or homeopath if unsure.
What to Do if Your Symptoms Stay the Same.Review your symptoms, be as specific as you can and consult the Repertory or this on-line remedy finder https://abchomeopathy.com/go.php to see if you can find a more appropriate remedy.
How to Store Your Remedies.
Store them in their original containers, taking care to keep the lids well screwed on. Put them in a cupboard or box at normal room temperature and away from heat sources. Store them separately to and away from substances such as aromatherapy oils, mothballs, perfumes and anything that is strong smelling.
Stored like this, homeopathic remedies remain potent for up to 100 years!

Why Homeopathy is a Useful, Healing Therapy

Why Homeopathy is a Useful, Healing Therapy

Mary English DSH, MFHT, Author of A Little at a Time, Homeopathy For You and Those You Love.

Please excuse me if you have already seen a Homeopath, used a Homeopathic remedy or been treated by a Homeopathically trained GP. This article is not for you.

This article is for those who have heard of Homeopathy and think Homeopaths are:

~Reckless therapists bent on deceiving the general public and using

~Un-proven,

~Dangerous,

~Life-threatening forms of

~Witch-craft

~and hocus-pocus.

~Snake oil salesmen/women

~Quacks

~and money-grabbing,

~Cherry-picking

~Forms of evil

~and wonton deceit.

This above list isn't exhaustive but it covers most of the current Keyboard Warrior criticism for Homeopathy and Homeopathic practitioners.

I must also add at the beginning of this article that I am a non-medically-trained Homeopath.

I have a Diploma in Homeopathy, which took me 5 years to gain, I have insurance, a counselling skills certificate, 8 years experience of working with a wide range of pathology in a drugs and homeless charity  and I am past Chair of a Homeopathic charity and past trustee of another Homeopathic charity.

Experienced

I also have over 15+ years experience in private practice working on the ‘front-line’ treating a wide range of clients from birth to old age, with an equally wide range of diseases from skin conditions to severe pathology.

Claims & Laws

I don'’t claim anything with my therapy and I abide by the laws of this country which ban me from treating the following complaints including cancer, diabetes and tuberculosis,

I am also respectful of the fact that most of my clients are genuinely unwell and have not had any lasting success with their treatment within the NHS.

I charge a reasonable fee which my clients are happy to pay.

If I feel I can'’t treat someone, I tell them and refer them to someone who can.

Hopes & Fears

I give my clients options, advice, a listening ear and space to let them express their fears, hopes and dreams and I prescribe a remedy to help them, having weighed-up and analysed their symptoms, pathology, past health, presenting complaint and general energy levels.

I do not make rash pronouncements, or scare my clients, or bamboozle them with long words and technical data and I take as a given that they know more about their own health than anyone else.

I have also received as part of my Homeopathic training, competence in anatomy and physiology and I know when a client is exhibiting symptoms that point to a serious state of health, so I can advice them to seek further medical advice from their GP or A & E.

Recovery & Susceptibility

I am also trained (as part of my Homeopathic training), to recognise when a client is recovering from a complaint, as Homeopaths base their treatment on the model that the average person’'s body will aim for homeostasis and wellness.
We, as humans, don'’t randomly become unwell. At college we were taught about susceptibility.

That certain people are susceptible to certain diseases. These might come about because of something genetic, from certain life-style choices: smoking, alcohol abuse, a diet low in nutrients, stress in a relationship or the workplace, adverse weather sensitivities, anxiety, grief or sadness due to loss, death or terminal illness of a family member or friend.

If my clients want, I will write to their GP and explain my methodology and prescribing plan so everyone is kept in the loop.

Proof

Now one of the present major criticisms of Homeopathy is that the remedies I prescribe are un-proven, water, and placebo. I find that rather an incredible accusation.

If I were to just routinely prescribe my clients with inert sugar pills’  how come their anxiety reduces even though they might have been to see a counsellor or psychiatrist? How come their rash or croup, or asthma or infected toe-nails, or tinnitus or menopause-hot-flushes, or sun burn or digestive disorder or bowel complaint starts to improve after taking their remedies?

How come all the creams and anti-acids and pain-killers and over-the-counter and prescribed medicines made no difference prior to seeing me? Or their previous visits to specialists, G.P’s, pain-clinics, psychiatrists, physiotherapists, asthma clinics, and various medical departments of major hospitals which made no difference to their presenting complaint?

There is Only One answer ~ The Remedies

It's not me that makes the difference, it’'s the remedies.

It's not my listening ear, my empathy, my concern, my professional approach, my time-keeping or my certificates hanging on my clinic wall.

It’'s the correct choice of the correct remedy in the correct potency.

All the other context issues contribute to a healthy client outcome but without the remedies working, my phone would not ring, my website would receive no hits, my clients would not refer me to their friends and I would be as quiet as a doormouse.

Human Treatment

....and I treat humans.

I treat and help other people like myself. With all their quirks and anxieties, their worries and feelings. I treat their human-ness.

I have over 200 years of Homeopathic written records to refer to. 200 years of actual people suffering from actual diseases and conditions to read about and learn from. Homeopathy didn'’t evolve from a vacuum. It evolved and spread from Germany where it was ‘discovered’ to the whole of the world. It was spread by word of mouth, by doctors, therapists, and homeopaths. It spread by the written accounts of thousands of people who were amazed by its flexibility and whole, person-centred approach.

Homeopathy Works

It spread because it worked.

It grew from one man'’s personal experience to where it is today.
It doesn'’t suit everyone. It doesn'’t help everyone or everything. But does anything? There is no one therapy that suits or treats or cures or helps every single person in the world. How could it? We are a species of complex and wonderful anatomy, of mind blowing physiology and leaning on or relying on one therapy would be narrow-minded.

Homeopathy works along-side medicine. Dr Samuel Hahnemann worked in a time and age where he was ridiculed by his contemporary doctors but his patients, who numbered thousands by the time of his death in 1843, were healed of such a wide variety of complaints and conditions we should remember with respect his last words engraved on his tomb-stone:
Non inutilis vixi

I have not lived in vain.No Samuel, you have not lived in vain and Homeopathy will continue to treat, gently and without side-effects, further generations of ill, sick and diseased people.

And will continue to help all sorts of people, because it treats the person, not the disease.

The wesen not the boil, The Mother; not the headache, The Father; not the indigestion, The Baby; not the croup, The Teenager; not the bulimia, The Student; not the sleeplessness.

Homeopathy and Homeopaths exist in every country in the world. In the UK, Europe...

in English speaking countries  and the rest of the world

It has grown from one person in 1755  to the present day and will continue to treat and heal.

“"The physician's only mission is to cure the sick; it is not to speculate on the nature of disease. The ideal cure is rapid, gentle, permanent and removes the whole disease in the shortest, least harmful way, according to easily comprehensible principles.”"  Samuel Hahnemann - The Organon

Shit Happens! Why Diarrhoea Can Be Caused by Things Other Than Food

Mary English DSH, MFHT a Homeopath based in Bath, UK gives us some advice on homeopathic first aid treatment for diarrhoea or runny stools and some suggestions of why it might be caused from something more than just food.

There are many things that can trigger a bout of diarrhoea.

Most often food poisoning is the culprit. 1.

Eating partially cooked or rare meat can trigger an episode, as can overdoing alcohol or spices.

Assuming this isn't the case, what else can trigger diarrhoea?

Homeopaths have discovered, from observing and working with thousands of proving volunteers 2. over the years, that diarrhoea can be triggered by things other than what you have eaten.

How You Feel Might be at The Bottom (!)
Extreme emotional excitement can have someone running for the loo. It could be good news of passing exams or more negatively an impending interview with your boss and you fear redundancy.

Some people can feel the need to go to the toilet when they're given really bad news like the death of a relative or close friend.

Sometimes extreme fright can cause diarrhoea, maybe after being attacked (physically or emotionally) or after witnessing a tragedy.

Then there are those that suffer from irritable bowel syndrome and have to get up and out of bed fast or they'll have an accident on the way to the bathroom.

Talking about bowel habits is difficult.

In our western culture we expect privacy when going to the toilet and having a problem with poop can be acutely embarrassing.

Even though it's something we all have to do...

Having repeated attacks of diarrhoea can make us feel vulnerable and anxious, however it's a natural way of the body to expel something we don't need....and maybe that's an emotion, not the meal we just ate.

Debbie Shapiro in her Your Body Speaks Your Mind has this to say about the act of defecation:

"Letting go of the anal muscles is an act of surrendering to the natural rhythms of the body;refusing to relax these muscles indicates a resistance to higher authority and/or a fear of being out of control. Our relationships with defecation is indicative of our relationship with 'our own shit' - our inner pain and darkness - how easily we can accept and let go, or if we cling and hold on."

Homeopathy has a very good track record of helping people with Irritable Bowel Syndrome-IBS
Not only are the symptoms of the person's illness taken into account, but also their feelings, preferences and personality. This is true Homeopathic prescribing at its best, helping the 'person' suffering from the problem, not just treating the symptoms.
Recent research discovered that:
Patients receiving homeopathy in addition to conventional care improved more than patients receiving ‘supportive listening’, suggesting that improvements seen in the homeopathic group cannot be attributed entirely to the therapeutic effects of the ‘time and attention’ given to the patient during the consultation.3.
The reason homeopathic prescribing works so well is the important principle that homeopathic prescribing is individual to the person, not the complaint.
Here are some portraits of remedies that can be used for loose stools:

Gelsemium Poo caused from being Overly Emotional  This is made from the fresh root of yellow jasmine (and is poisonous 4.) In its raw state is contains an alkaloid which interferes with nervous control of breathing and movement causing paralysis, trembling and inflammation. In a homeopathic preparation, these poisons are removed but the benefits remain. This is the remedy for diarrhoea brought on from emotional excitement, fright or bad news. The stool is painless or involuntary.

Ipecacuanha
Ipecacuanha
Poo caused by Anger, Mortification, Vexation or Indignation Again, the homeopathic remedy is prepared from the dried root of a plant, whose active principle called emetine, is used in conventional medicine as an emetic and expectorant. In herbal medicine is is used to treat dermatitis. In Homeopathy we use this to help stools that are pitch-like, green as grass, like frothy molasses, with griping at the navel. Dysenteric and slimy. There is also persistent nausea.

Science Museum, Oxford - a photoset by noriko.stardust on Flickriver

Sulphur Poo caused by Suppression, Alcohol or Overexertion  The remedy Sulphur is made from 'flowers of sulphur' a bright yellow powder obtained from naturally occurring volcanic deposits.
The person needing Sulphur has morning diarrhoea that is painless but drives them out of bed. Burning and pressure in the rectum during stool and burning of the anus after stool.
As you can see from the above examples, the person suffering from the loose stools may have had other things going on for them than just what they ate.
Their condition could have been preceded by being overly emotional, getting uptight and upset about something, overdoing alcohol or generally overdoing it.

Let's Face it ~ The Homeopathic Approach to Acne

Homeopathy is a form of alternative/complementary medicine, discovered and developed by the German medical doctor Samuel Hahnemann.

Homeopathy started in the late 1700s when Samuel Hahnemann a German doctor born in 1755, discovered the first principle of Homeopathy, that Like Cures Like.
After qualifying in medicine Samuel supplemented his income by translating various medical texts.
In 1789 when he was 34, Cullen, the author of one of the texts he was working on, stated that the reason Cinchona Bark (Cortex Peruvianus) cured malaria was 'because it was bitter'
In his usual questioning way, Hahnemann didn't agree with this hypothesis, as plenty of other herbs were bitter, but they didn't cure malaria.  So he decided to take some doses of Cinchona bark himself and discovered:
'I became languid and drowsy; then my heart began to palpitate; my pulse became quick and hard; an intolerable anxiety and trembling; prostration in all limbs; pulsation in the head; redness of cheeks; thirst. Briefly, these were all the symptoms usually associated with intermittent fever and they all made their appearance. These symptoms lasted from two to three hours every time and recurred only when I repeated the dose. I discontinued the medicine and I was once more in good health'
The symptoms that the Cinchona bark produced were exactly the same as the symptoms of malaria. What an amazing discovery! The fact that it produced the same symptoms as malaria itself was the reason it cured malaria. Bingo! This then set Hahnemann on a mission that lasted for the rest of his life.

Here Mary English, Homeopath and author of a Little at a Time, Homeopathy for You and Those You Love discusses alternatives to conventional treatment for acne.

It's All About The Money
An estimated $100 million (£65 million) a year is spent on solutions and creams for acne. 1.

Medical treatment in Germany for acne is estimated to be greater than 400 millions Euros. 2.

The standard line of treatment are creams. You might have tried a few already.

Their active ingredients are generally benzoyl peroxide (a form of bleach) topical retinoids (they remove the upper layer of skin), topical antibiotics (side effects are skin scarring and peeling of the skin) and azelaic acid  (side effects are itchiness, dry skin and redness of skin!) 2.

But what if there was another, less invasive/expensive, more natural way of treating your skin?

Different View
Homeopaths view the skin differently.

We see it as the important organ of the body that it is but one that doesn't need creams to keep it healthy.

One lady I treated had some very severe outbursts on her skin. They were red and raised and she felt embarrassed about them. Her skin had erupted when she suffered extreme stress at work. She was unhappy and upset that these outbursts had appeared and they were making her life miserable. After two weeks of treatment, her skin began to repair and the redness reduced and eventually cleared.

Homeopaths treat a lot of people with skin conditions because conventional medicine doesn't always bring relief. 4

If your acne has been caused by eating too many sweets, or candies, no amount of cream is going to alter how your skin reproduces and repairs.

Most worry about skin is during the teen years but it can happen at any time of life. If your face is covered in spots it can make you feel awkward or self conscious or worse; very depressed.

Individual Treatment

The criticism that homeopaths have with conventional medicine is that everyone with the same complaint, is treated with the same medicines.

Homeopaths don't group people this way. We group them by their life-style, or likes and dislikes.

We group people by their personalities rather than their conditions.

We analyse how they're affected by weather, what food they like or hate.

We even take into account their dreams, wishes and hopes.

The positive upside of this is that your treatment is totally individual to you, the person suffering from the condition, not the condition suffered by the person.

Treating People

We treat people.

Not diseases.

First Aid homeopathy works like conventional medicine and is used a lot that way too, but we can also analyse someone's acne in a more individual way.

Three main remedies for acne are:

Belladonna

Sulphur

and

Nat Mur

Even these three remedies have totally different characteristics.

Belladonna
Belladonna
The person needing Belladonna will be hot, with red skin and a flushed face. Acne is on the cheeks and nose. There can be erysipelas (a bacterial infection of the skin) and the skin is very hot and dry.

Flowers of Sulphur
Sulphur
The person needing Sulphur will have skin that is dry and scaly and looks unhealthy. They'll have pimply eruptions and pustules. Their skin is made worse from using creams and ointments and their skin can also be made worse from water and washing. It can be itchy and made worse from scratching.

Sea Salt
Nat Mur
Someone needing Nat Mur has oily, shiny skin on their face. They are more prone to greasy skin. They can also feel depressed and self-conscious about themselves and their skin if it's been a problem for a long time. They can look pale and sad.

So to treat acne well with Homeopathy, think about 'you' the person suffering from the condition, not the condition itself. Think about how your skin makes you feel.

Sometimes just working on releasing the feelings associated with your skin problem, can make having it less of a burden. Then when you feel better, you'll be less stressed and more able for your body to do what it does well, which is keep you healthy and in a state of homeostasis ~ Balance.
