In this day in time, your choice or your right to choose is a hot topic in many areas. My concern is when your choice has the right to infringe on my rights as well. This is a world that wants to live as it sees fits. This is a country that does its best to make everyone happy. Where can we find the balance?

I am not political or do I try to be politically correct, but when will you stop believing I have to like everything you do. I am tired of those that feel because I don’t like, agree, or even have a difference of opinion, it makes me some sort of hater, racist or discriminator. Three words that are used a lot from people and media.

It is time to grow the hell up and know that people will not like everything you do or say. My parent’s didn’t like all of the choices I’ve made so I did get the impression that everyone else will like my choices. Some of you don’t know how to enjoy life so you have to make life hard for others. I don’t need any more announcements about the choices you’re making. Make them because you can live with them, not because you want me to respect them. I just might surprise you and tell you “I don’t care”. That’s my choice.

I‘ve heard many things about targeting your audience but never, and I hate to use the word "never", is there anything specific as to how.

Many writers struggle with targeting because of the many genres now to be tagged to. If you have a specific way of targeting, share.

I have open accounts with Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram and have made some connections but small compared to what is needed to reach more people.

Please don't mistake this for trying to do something quick. I do not want to waste too much time by dealing with people who are not readers, authors, or buyers when it comes to this marketing and promoting. Time is more valuable than money, I am not sure if you would agree but I would like to know what you think.

I am still new to this marketing and publicity arena. I know a few things for sure, that it this is not a quick race and be consistent. I like to hear from other authors/writers, what are you two top challenges with marketing and what two worked well for you?

With the huge amount of resources claiming good results but also with a high end cost, how can we navigate this information without help from those who been doing this for some time. It is clear that somethings work and somethings don’t.

1. How do you target your audience?
2. Pay or pay not for reviews?
3. The best way to create excitement?
4. Do social media help or hinder?

This is my first real blog writing and I always wondered when I hear people talk about their relationship, why did you make that choice? Everyone on all levels can answer this question.

I made the choice because of love but that was too easy of an answer. I made the choice because she is one of the special one. I don't mean that in a funny way but she has a heart that is pure. See I have been married for twenty-six years. Life has definitely handed us our ups and down. It was going through many of those downs that made me see clearly. I chose to go through this life with her.

If you can, keep it simple but let me know, why did you make that choice? Then let your partner know why you choose them.
