David grew up in a Christian family with two brothers and two sisters. They moved around a lot. David has lived in Alaska, California, Oklahoma, Missouri, Tennessee, Virginia and Michigan. He currently lives in Indiana.

After spending a summer as a short-term missionary in Liberia, David enrolled in New Tribes Bible Institute in Jackson, MI. He subsequently earned a master’s degree from Grand Rapids Theological Seminary.

David has served as a full-time pastor or Christian school teacher for fifteen years. He currently works for an insurance company.

His personal interests and hobbies include long distance running, Ultimate frisbee, good sci-fi and Irish language/culture.

Audible Sale

I can't control the Audible pricing ... they control that. For an audiobook of this length, it's typically priced at $19.95.

But!

Every so often they put a random collection of audiobooks on sale ... and Open Hands is currently on sale at $15.96. It's not a huge savings, but it's something. I'm also not sure how long this reduced price will last.
