Derren Parsons is an Australian indie author of dark fantasy fiction, based in Margaret River, Western Australia.

His work spans two interconnected series set in the World of Arghost — a dark, complex world where the line between hero and villain is rarely clear, and the consequences of power are never clean.

The Chronicles of Arghost follows the events of a world on the brink — beginning with The Second Rising and continuing through Shadows and Salvation. The series is built around morally complex characters, brutal truths, and a world that refuses to make things easy for anyone living in it.
