Happy Father's Day to all the Dads and father figures out there!

My granddaughter's hair has taken forever to grow, but look! She has enough for her first pony tail! She had begun to walk, and to say a few words too. A few medical issues have also shown up, unfortunately, but nothing too serious. (Among them a lazy eye, which she inherited from me, I am sorry to say.)
She is cute as a button and always makes me smile.

I find it wonderful when people take time out of their busy and stressful work days to do something fun just to create something special for a worried little boy. I'm sure these nice folks got something out of it as well, don't you think?

A little stuffed tiger named "Hobbes" was misplaced by his 6-year-old owner at the Tampa International Airport and was taken on a grand airport adventure.

I find it wonderful when people take times out of their busy and stressful work days to do something fun just to create something special for a worried little boy. I'm sure these nice folks got something out of it as well, don't you?

Regan here, reaching into the past for some unusual things people ate historically that we (by and large) do not eat today... Swan, eel (well in certain parts of the world they eat it but I can't bear to look at it), wild boar and perch (not on most menus). What do you think?
