I was born in Havana, Cuba. My family moved to the U.S. when I was eight months old and I grew up in Fairfax, Virginia. Reading, writing and history have been my abiding passions ever since I can remember. In college, I majored in World History, and minored in English Literature and Cultural Anthropology. My most recent works are the Biblical Romance, "Dreaming in Egypt-The Story of Asenath" and Joseph, and the non-fiction "Lucid Dreams and the Holy Spirit."

Before becoming a practicing Catholic, I wrote several erotic romances. An experienced lucid dreamer, I am a member of the International Association For the Study of Dreams, and a regular contributor to the Lucid Dreaming Experience Magazine.

* Saved by Dreams

As a child, I was Baptized and Confirmed but never read the Bible or went to Church as an adult. I always believed in and loved Jesus, but everywhere I turned I was surrounded by atheists and agnostics. Then when I turned 50 years old, two nights after my birthday, I suddenly began having intensely vivid and often lucid dreams. To make a long story very short, God launched a rescue operation for m

“Human beings appear to be the eternal natural bridge between the tangible and the intangible.”
Anna Mancini

C.S. Lewis
“Supposing there was no intelligence behind the universe, no creative mind. In that case, nobody designed my brain for the purpose of thinking. It is merely that when the atoms inside my skull happen, for physical or chemical reasons, to arrange themselves in a certain way, this gives me, as a by-product, the sensation I call thought. But, if so, how can I trust my own thinking to be true? It's like upsetting a milk jug and hoping that the way it splashes itself will give you a map of London. But if I can't trust my own thinking, of course I can't trust the arguments leading to Atheism, and therefore have no reason to be an Atheist, or anything else. Unless I believe in God, I cannot believe in thought: so I can never use thought to disbelieve in God.”

George MacDonald
“When a man dreams his own dream, he is the sport of his dream; when Another gives it him, that Other is able to fulfill it.”
George MacDonald, Lilith

George MacDonald
“I am sometimes almost terrified at the scope of the demands made upon me, at the perfection of the self-abandonment required of me; yet outside of such absoluteness can be no salvation.”
George MacDonald

G.K. Chesterton
“Nobody can imagine how nothing could turn into something. Nobody can get an inch nearer to it by explaining how something could turn into something else. It is really far more logical to start by saying ‘In the beginning God created heaven and earth’ even if
you only mean ‘In the beginning some unthinkable power began some unthinkable process.’ For God is by its nature a
name of mystery, and nobody ever supposed that man could imagine how a world was created any more than he could
create one. But evolution really is mistaken for explanation. It has the fatal quality of leaving on many minds the impression that they do understand it and everything else”
G.K. Chesterton, The Everlasting Man
