Sam was arrested when I was ten. My mother overdosed with I was thirteen. I'm the one who found her dead on the living room floor while Sam was still in prison.
Security? A stable home life? I didn't have that in my childhood but I didn't make it easy on myself either. People who loved me tried to help. Bronagh Martin, her husband Shawn, Pointe Royal's sheriff. My grandmother.
At the 4th of July picnic, I finally agreed to fess up that I was Sam Clifton's daughter. Ronan Moore was surprised. We had been attending Sam's group for the last year. Both ex-addicts trying to stay clean, me longer than him. Yes, I followed in my parents’ footsteps.
Sam had a reason for introducing me to the Moore family. He wanted me to come out of my shell. To stop hiding from the world. I guarded my heart even from my own father because Sam had let me down once. I loved being surrounded by the Moore's. There was so much love in their family. They showed me what I had missed as a kid.
Liam Moore liked me. I thought we had something. Jamie Moore, his identical twin, he and I rubbed each other the wrong way from the moment we said hello. Both brothers were interested in me but Liam wouldn't let his feelings for me come between him and Jamie.
Fate had other plans for me and Jamie though. He left me with broken dreams and broken promises.
That’s why, I guarded my heart so it could never be broken.
This does not have a HEA ending for Jamie and Dia but it has a part 2 that is coming soon where Dia's story continues where she will find her HEA. Not for readers under 18.

Pete Garrett is a loner, struggling with the bottle and depression. Life becomes an emotional rollercoaster when his father, Teller returns to Severe after sixteen years being gone. He seems hellbent on destroying Peter’s life.
Secrets about the family’s past are revealed through Lucille’s diary. Secrets that could tear the family apart or finally help them heal.
The one bright spot in Pete’s life is Desi Kane. A server at Bairds Pub. He just needs to let down his guard and let her in to find the happiness he deserves. The happiness that maybe only Desi can give him.
A happy ending but contains violence, thoughts of suicide, descriptions of abuse that some readers might not like or want to read about. Sexual situations, not intended for readers under 18.

Cameron Baird is the last single Baird sister. She has been in an off and on relationship with Gray Steward since the death of her sister Machara. They came together through grief. Keeping it together isn’t their strong suit.
Gray wants a future with Cameron. He can’t imagine a life without her but he wants to have his fun first. Gray wants to show Cameron places he seen. Asia, Europe, the Caribbean. Then they will settle down and have the life that she wants. He can’t see her side of things.

Six years ago, at Marty Hanson’s house, Greer Baird Steward was nearly raped by several men in the bedroom at the top of the stairs. A lot of things happened that night and a lot of things didn’t happen but everyone thought it did.
As far as Greer remembered, Donny Brinkman was all she knew of the men in that room. It was dark. He straddled her body blocking her view of the others and she was drunk.
Six of the Steward brothers rescued her. Everything happened so fast most of them didn’t even pay attention as to who exactly was in that room except Brodie Steward. He knew each of their faces. Once a long time ago, he had been friends with them.
He threatened to kill them if they ever told a soul what happened that night. He was trying to protect Greer. He repeated that threat to Donny Brinkman last, New Year’s Eve when he approached Greer to apologize to her.
On a cold, winter night, six years later, Donny is shot in the back and left in the snow, to die alone. As he stared up at the starry night, possibly contemplating his short life, was he filled with regrets?
His best friend, Benny finds him the next morning and implicates Brodie. Secrets begin to unravel many lives as the men in that room plus the Stewards are all brought in for questioning.

Who Killed Donny Brinkman?
My next book in the 7 Brides for 7 Brothers Series will be a murder mystery. Donny's death will affect four men in different ways. Brodie Steward is finally happy and ready to settle down he won't let Lacey get away the way he did Dallis Baird. Hank Johnson, Pete Garette and Benny Jones will have to pay for their sins the night Greer was nearly raped at Marty Hanson's house. Truths come to light about that night. Innocence is revealed and forgiveness is accepted. It's a hard thing these men had to come to terms with, what they did that night. It's a hard thing, Greer has had to deal with. Severe will never be the same, sleepy, little town after Donny's death.

Now he is left to raise their baby daughters alone. Freya Baird is finally with Coll Steward and they have baby, Grace. Davy Steward broke up with Georgie. He couldn’t deal with her amazing talents so she found Hunter Cole, the famous tattoo artist. Brodie Steward lost Dallis Baird to Bodhi James.

Trouble from the time she developed a beautiful body and boys started paying attention to her; she figured out her body and sex made her very popular at a young age.
Alcohol took away her inhibitions. It made her the life of every weekend party. By the time, she was a seventeen, she was out of control and on a course for disaster. No one could stop her but the Steward brothers, Finlay and Ewan were always there to pick up the pieces when she needed them. She was on a downhill road of self-destruction.
Three events in her life will determine her future. First, Greer must make it through the most difficult time in her life to find her happiness. The drinking needs to stop before it kills her.
Once she’s sober, Greer will make decisions about her love life that will determine who she ends up with in the end. There are three men in her life. Shawn is safe and pastor of the Fellowship Church. He wants another chance. Ewan, is confused about his sexuality and is trying to convince her they have a chance but his choices keep getting in the way and then there is Finlay. She thinks he is off limits and belongs to her sister still, even though she is gone. Maybe she just needs to focus on staying sober and staying healthy.
