He earned his bachelor’s degree in film and video at Pennsylvania State University, where he focused on the art of screenwriting. At the very least, it's a misnomer. Writers are creative, and their minds are active. I find that I may pace or go on a drive or sit and stare at my computer screen while working through the next character action or plot point and may hesitate from writing until I have either a clear path ahead or a mildly vague one. Writers don't stare at the screen with their minds completely blank with no idea of what to write. Indecision and insecurity are mostly the cause for words not flying on to the page.(less)
