Denise McLeod I write only when I want to write. I tried not to pressure myself with time constraints and just went with the flow.

The main problem I had was how and when to STOP writing, as once I'd started it became all consuming and I couldn't eat or sleep until a chapter Id been thinking of, was written, finished and sent off for editing. I had an editor edit each chapter as I progressed. (less)

I have included some terrifying, heart-breaking moments, alongside some of the best and most incredible moments too.

As some of my own dogs are in some of the chapters too, I have had a chance to relive those memories, cry a bit, smile a lot and laugh out loud too, when I remember some of their incredible antics. (less)

Well its been 3 weeks to the day now since the book was first delivered to my door and despatch began.

It was a very exciting day after all the writing and editing and build up and it was great to finally see my gorgeous boy Connor, looking so dashing on the front cover. On so many front covers!
