Yehezkel Dror My recent book FOR RULERS: PRIMING POLITICAL LEADERS FOR SAVING HUMANITY FROM ITSELF has three bases: Many years of study and theory building on polic…moreMy recent book FOR RULERS: PRIMING POLITICAL LEADERS FOR SAVING HUMANITY FROM ITSELF has three bases: Many years of study and theory building on policy making and strategic choice; much personal experience in corridors of power around the world, advising top level decision makers and mentoring them in residential three to ten days workshops; and increasing interest in the evolutionary history of the human species leading to the question, well formulated in a collection of essays of the anthropologist-phiospher Rene Girard "Can We Survive Our Origins?"

My conclusion is that with political leaders as now in charge of fateful choices, the changes of avoiding global catastrophes are increasingly approximating zero. Therefore I wrote this short but dense book as a kind of "Mirror for Rulers" calling for radically upgrading political leaders and specifying the qualities they must acquire to save humanity from itself.
