First of the Year Giveaway!
Now that we’re After the First hours of 2013, co-authors Talon Rihai and Salome Wilde announce a Goodreads giveaway of their contemporary m/m romance novella, After the First Taste of Love!
As they began work on their novella (the first in a planned trilogy), Talon and Salome discussed what they most love in m/m romance and what they most wanted to see more of in the genre. They began with the role of sincere friendship in the making of a compelling couple. Then, they considered race and ethnicity, sharing their frustration with so many novels featuring only white protagonists. This quickly led to the creation of Angelo (the Korean-Cuban loner who’s afraid of love) and Nick (the Mexican-Jewish brat with a heart of gold).
To enter this giveaway, add a comment to this post that tells us one thing you’d personally like to see more of in m/m romance fiction. On Tuesday, January 15, Tal and Sal will select two winners: one randomly and one for their favorite comment!
