Andrea Jones is the author of the award-winning series, the "Hook & Jill" Saga (Reginetta Press). Based closely upon J.M. Barrie’s "Peter and Wendy," "Hook & Jill" is a serious parody of the Peter Pan story. "Other Oceans: Book Two of the Hook & Jill Saga" is a study in loyalty. It takes place upon the high seas on Captain Hook’s pirate ship. Hello Cintia -- I only just received this message from GoodReads. I'm sorry for the delay.

It is discouraging to see all the issues with which writers have to deal. The good news is that there are more ways to publish now than there have ever been. If you have a story that is burning to be born, you must write it. When it's done, competently edited, and ready to be published, you can decide which way to attempt.

I'll be glad to give you my opinion when you reach that point. In the meantime, listen to your creative voice, not the voices of distraction out there. Turn off the TV, radio, internet, and write the story that lives in your heart.(less)

We'll be making them into trade paperbacks in the near future, so if you'd rather have them in paper book form, I'll let you know when they're ready, or you can check the "Hook & Jill" website or the "Hook & Jill" Facebook page for updates. The newest of our classics restorations is "The Virgin of the Sun" by H. Rider Haggard, also on the links page I posted, above.

Thanks for visiting my booth in Hannibal. Read on!(less)

"This has become my most recommended book to others! Andrea made me fall in love with the Peter Pan story all over again. It was a cant put down read; I finished it in a day. The plot takes you inside the story with such vivid detail.

“You needn't steal from me. I will give you everything, and never miss it.”
Andrea Jones, Hook & Jill

“I don’t want to be a queen without a king.” Unyielding, he said, “You will do what you must. With or without me.” And then, more gently, “As you always have done. That is my order.”
Andrea Jones, Other Oceans

“True marriage, Hook reflected, took place in the woods in sacraments like this one, or upon the font of the sea, in rites of passage, blood ritual, magical transference such as only he, who inhabited her soul, could share with her.”
Andrea Jones, Other Islands
