Viola Russell is the pseudonym of a native New Orleanian who is a true romantic. I am an English teacher who lives with her husband and is happiest when I am writing. I also love dogs, chocolate, and king cake! One of my favorite places in the world is Ireland, and it plays a large part in my books.

This book had wonderful twists and turns. You will love the characters, but some of the head-hopping was jarring.

I love reading about Joan's life, but the writing style here didn't appeal. There wasn't enough character development. The dialogue was written like a play, and description was at a minimal. ...more
