I have read Carolina Rain, Beyond Sandy Ridge and Lizzie After The War,also A Doll Named Fannie and Quotes in Black and White. I just purchased Garnet and have not started it yet. The Carolina Rain series is awesome I love Lizzie and am anxiously awaiting Letters from Lizzie. You get to know this character intimately and laugh and cry with her. Nancy B Brewer's style keeps my attention. After reading A Doll Named Fannie I will never look at a doll the same way again.
Amazing historical fiction author Nancy B. Brewer. Enjoy the Carolina Rain series. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B004HD5VJ6

take care!
I'm in a great group here called Sisterhood of the Traveling Book. We invite authors to join us. They share their books with us. We read them and review them and help spread the word. Might be something you want to check out. The groups owner is Naomi and she could explain it all to you! Thank you for the invite!!

I wish all I had to share with you were the joys of a privileged young girl living on a southern plantation. My friend, much has changed since those carefree days. Many of those I loved are forever silent. For their sakes, I must find the courage to tell our story. I have wasted too much time already; I must begin.
