Karl Vadaszffy My new novel, ON GUARD, the first in a new series set in the world of fencing, will be released as an eBook and paperback on June 6th. A present-day murder mystery connected with the history of the Hungarian Revolution of 1956, its cover and blurb will be revealed soon...

Karl Vadaszffy I hope everyone is well.

My novel, THE MISSING, has been reduced on Kindle for a limited time - from £4.99 to 99p (and equivalents on all international sites). It was a bestseller last summer and has received great reviews from readers and bestselling authors.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/The-Missing-e...

Glenn Cooper called it a 'terrifying and perplexing debut mystery'. Matt Hilton said it's 'a thriller written with the passion and intensity of a master storyteller'.

It currently has 63 5* reviews on Amazon UK and 32 4* reviews.

Elly Griffiths said it's 'a nightmare scenario worthy of Harlan Coben at his best' and CM Palov called it 'A mystery that grips, provokes and most definitely causes the spine to tingle'.

A paperback is also available.

My thanks to the 50,000+ readers who have already downloaded it. If you have read it or do read it, I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Find out why James Becker says 'Desperation and frustration stain the pages' and why Scott Phillips says 'It's a shame Hitchcock isn't around to film it, it's exactly the kind of story he did best'.

Thanks to everyone who has read it.

Best wishes,
Karl

Zoë Sharp Hi Karl

Thanks so much for friending me. I'm so sorry it's taken me a while to respond - computer woes. (I won't bore you with the details.) Trying to catch up now. Looking forward to reading THE MISSING as soon as I can see over the top of my current TBR pile ... :)

Karl Vadaszffy Hi all,

As you know word of mouth is what makes a book sell, so I wonder if you would be kind enough to take a look at my latest offering, The Missing, which is out from Peach Publishing as an eBook. It's a suspenseful crime thriller inspired by Sophie Hannah's Little Face. It's received rave reviews from a number of authors:

'Karl Vadaszffy's The Missing is a terrifying and perplexing debut mystery, spare and fast-paced with a terrific ending. I wouldn't be surprised if it spawns a DS Kate Nielsen series.'
Glenn Cooper, author of Library of the Dead and The Book of Secrets

'Karl Vadaszffy delivers a real treat in The Missing, a thriller written with the passion and intensity of a master storyteller. Mystery, action, a flawed but determined protagonist, this book has it all. I’m a fan of Karl’s skill.'
Matt Hilton, author of Dead Men's Dust and Judgement and Wrath (Joe Hunter thrillers)

'A mystery that grips, provokes and most definitely causes the spine to tingle. Nothing is as it seems in this suspense-laden tale, the pith darkening on each exquisitely written page. The Missing moves at a relentless pace, taking the reader on a journey into the twisted mind of a very dark soul. A spellbinding thriller.'
C.M. Palov, author of The Templar’s Quest and The Templar's Code.

'A thriller to make your pulse race. Desperation and frustration stain the pages – a cracking good read.'
James Becker, author of The First Apostle and The Moses Stone

'The Missing plunges you into a nightmare scenario worthy of Harlan Coben at his best. However, this is more than a suspense novel, it is a perceptive and intriguing human drama. All the interactions ring true and the characters – even the monsters – are always believable.'
Elly Griffiths, author of The Crossing Places and The Janus Stone

'The Missing is a fast and compelling book, by turns tender and brutal, with a pounding sense of approaching crisis. The author's command of the scenes is impressive.'
Patrick Lennon, author of Steel Witches and Corn Dolls

'The Missing is a nightmare of a book, triggering a reader's darkest fears and keeping him in a state of tension from the first page until the last.'
Thomas Perry, author of Silence and Strip

In the UK, it can be bought here:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/The-Missing-e...

And in the US and Canada, here:

http://www.amazon.com/The-Missing-ebo...

A synopsis can be found on the links above.

If you read it, I'd be delighted to hear your thoughts.

Best wishes and my thanks,
Karl
