Tim Owen writes character-driven fiction with sharp humour and emotional depth. His stories explore messy people making imperfect decisions, unexpected friendships, and the fine line between control and chaos.

He is the author of Spaced, a quirky science-fiction adventure that blends humour, suspense, and found family. Whether writing contemporary drama or speculative fiction, Tim focuses on voice, pace, and characters who feel real—even when their circumstances aren’t.

Based in New Zealand, he spends most of his time writing, revising, and trying to keep his characters from going off script.
