Magda Luna Pais nasceu em 1969, no Barreiro, e vive actualmente numa aldeia, no campo, com o marido, os filhos e os três cães. É do signo do Zodíaco Sagitário e na astrologia chinesa é Galo.
Quase que, desde o berço que foi acompanhada pela presença dos livros. Logo que aprendeu a ler, tornou-se uma leitora quase compulsiva, e depressa impôs, aos seus pais e tios, que as suas prendas, nas épocas festivas, fossem livros, que devorava.
Já na escola, e antecipando-se ao Plano Nacional de Leitura, os professores que a acompanharam souberam aproveitar esse gosto e até incrementá-lo, de tal modo que continua a ser uma fã incondicional da leitura, o que a torna numa cliente assídua de livrarias, o que facilita a escolha de prendas a oferecer-lhe.

A sua vida profissional é preenchida pela banca, onde tem o privilégio de, entre outras coisas, atender ao público, experiência que, pela sua diversidade, lhe dá uma grande vivência social e que considera uma mais-valia.
A Internet também está associada a sua vida. Quer pela curiosidade de aprender ou pelo simples gosto em ler, andou por sites até que, um dia, descobriu um que viria a ter grande relevância para si. www.luso-poemas.net.
Neste site acumulou leituras de poesias e prosas, numa dita escrita criativa abrangente e ao jeito de toda gente. Algures, no mês de Novembro de 2007, deu, nesse site, timidamente, os seus primeiros passos na escrita com pequenos contos e boas crónicas.
Usa a sua experiência pessoal, quer a nível pessoal, quer a nível profissional, para escrever crónicas que publica, agora com regularidade, no seu blogue http://stoneartportugal.blogs.sapo.pt/ onde também partilha as suas criticas sobre os livros que lê.
Em Dezembro de 2008 foi nomeada “Luso do mês” no site www.luso-poemas.net (http://www.luso-poemas.net/modules/sm...).
Actividade literária
- Novembro de 2008, participação na colectânea “A arte pela escrita”, editada pela ArtEscrita, comemorativa do 1º aniversário do site www.escritartes.com
- Dezembro de 2008, participação na Antologia Luso-poemas 2008, editado pela Edium Editores, onde constam os melhores textos publicados no site www.luso-poemas.net no ano de 2008.
- Dezembro 2009 edição do primeiro livro autónomo “Vida na Internet”, pela Temas Originais, que compila as experiências que a autora viveu, ou que lhe foram relatadas por terceiros, enquanto internauta e frequentadora assídua de blogues e sites de literatura, dando-nos a sua visão pessoal das realidades sociais associadas. Encontramos ainda, neste livro, algumas explicações técnicas, dadas de forma acessível, permitindo, ao leitor, esclarecer dúvidas ou levantar questões sobre as quais nunca terá pensado.
- Junho de 2011, edição do livro “Episódios Geométricos – o livro de crónicas” com a chancela da Lua de Marfim onde compila diversas crónicas, abrangendo temas variados e sempre actuais.
- Fevereiro 2012, coordenação da Antologia Eu Digo Não ao Não, editada pela Lua de Marfim
- Fevereiro 2013, coordenação das antologias “Se sonhas, consegues fazer” e “A vida num sonho”, ambas editadas pela Lua de Marfim
- Junho 2015, edição do livro “Viagens” com a chancela da Lua de Marfim onde compila diversas crónicas, abrangendo temas variados e sempre actuais.

2022 em livros

Já não aparecia aqui há um ano. Trabalho, muito trabalho e tenho optado por, no tempo livre, ler em vez de escrever sobre livros. Não é uma má opção (direi eu) mas, de vez em quando, lembro-me do blog e apetece-me voltar. Bem, hoje volto para deixar o registo dos livros lidos em 2022.
